If you purchased a Tesla Model Y or Model 3 car after July 2022, when they stopped including hardware/cables to have USB-data in the center console USB ports, you can order this cable, along with these two parts directly from Tesla (create a service request for other/something else and request to order these 2 parts): USB data 1755200-00-B USB console cable 1100827-00-C This cable works as a replacement for 1521277-00-A, Lower Console -> MCU cable, which wasn't available when I ordered the above two parts. The cable is a little longer than it needs to be, but works. You do have to use a knife to shave off the excess rubber that sticks out at both ends so that the ports can be inserted all the way into the female ports, but it only takes a few minutes. It seems that the excess rubber is somewhat like a boot that slides down over the actual cable/end because when you shave down the excess, you reach the actual cable, and can peel the excess back. Wish I took a few photos before I installed it in the car to demonstrate here, but unfortunately I didn't. After installing this cable and the two parts above, I was able to plug in USB gamepads, and music on a USB stick or record Sentry dashcam footage to a USB stick in the center console, instead of being limited to just the USB port in the glove compartment.

Works for perfectly for the rear camera for a lot less than what other companies wanted.

I ordered this cable from this company and i will tell you i was surprised. The cable is heavy duty and build extremely well. I highly recommend this company. Also the people on the phone are professionals.

I added an upgrade to the Charger using the 8.4" UConnect to replace the factory basic radio. The upgrade included satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, and the playback from my iPhone. iPhone playback via Bluetooth is basic on the radio I have, with track names and not much else. But when plugged into the USB port, the media tags with album art are available to the radio for display on the screen. Unless you do NOT have the USB cable between the radio module and the Bluetooth module like my installation did. The USB cable is this older USB connection on both ends to feed the data to the radio for display. Got the cable and I had to whittle down the molded ends on the plug to make them work, but they did fit with only this minor modification. I can see my Apple Music album art on the screen when it is plugged in (it still doesn't display when using Bluetooth playback), and I'm pleased with the upgrade overall. This last piece was icing on the cake.

Didn’t work for my VIOFO A129 plus duo. No signal for rear camera.

Cable worked as designed perfect length I used it as a tester at work and fixed my connection with it.

Cables work but the molding around the and of the plug is a little big so it cannot be used for some of the purposes for which it was purposed. Had to file down the molding.

I can confirm this does not work for connecting a rear facing dash camera. Cable seems otherwise fine.
