Perfect for Prismacolors!
I love these & have used them for many years with a wide variety of colored pencils. They work very well with Prismacolors if it is used gently & slowly. They are also easy to empty.

Staedlers BEST tub sharpener. forceeal
One of the best and consistently — no idea why this one is better than their their others. But no kidding this works better than the silver and navy ones that i used to think were the best. I first got this in a set of pencils. I bought the smallest set of drawing pencils they made — the darker leads that were supposed to have less shine— I just hate shiny stuff. Not only did they NoT have less shine, the best thing about the kit was this pencil sharpener. And when I lost the first one, I had to get another one just in case I needed it and I love it. I use it for sharpening all my pencils. my favorite pencil, though for writing is a Mitsubishi. The red one. I also like it for drawing, and the eraser is money if they could make that eraser separate that soft, marvelous, dust, free streak, free eraser on the end of that red Mitsubishi pencil; that thing is tops

Bought this for my daughter's school kit. She can keep all of her #2 and coloring pencils ready without needing to ask to get up in class. The sharpener works well and keeps all shavings contained until ready to empty them.

There is nothing I don’t like about this sharpener it’s excellent.....I do wish they did spare blades, I hate to think it will be more plastic thrown away because I can’t changed them blades.
