Ramddy12 Quart Plastic Dishpan/Basin, 14" x 11" x 5.12", Set of 3

These dishpans are extremely small. Before ordering, I compared the stated size with dishpans I had at home which had similar measurements. I wanted the colors which was why I chose these, instead of buying more of what we already had. I was shocked when they arrived. The measurements are indeed accurate, but the measurements include an overhanging lip, all around. The basins, measured on the bottom are slightly over 11 inches by 8 1/2 inches, which means that they're totally useless for what I was planning. A regular dinner plate won't even fit inside. For teeny tiny jobs, perhaps for soaking lingerie, they'd be okay, but not for much more.

I have other 12-quart dishpans at home. When I unpacked these, I knew right away that they looked smaller, but I compared them to my others. Then, I took some measurements, from the inside top edges: 12.5 by 9.75 by 4.75 inches. This comes to 579 cubic inches. One quart of liquid takes up slightly less than 58 cubic inches. So, this dishpan holds a maximum of 10 quarts. However, the pans are not 'boxes', but have tapered sides, getting smaller towards the bottom, so they actually hold less than 10 quarts.These pans might be good for soaking your feet, if you have small feet, or for hand-washing some small items. However, if you want to use them for washing dishes, there had better be only one or two people eating, and you'd better be using small plates.These are going back, and the search continues ...

Great to have on hand, because you never know when you'll need these tubs. I have 3 kids and they all had the stomach flu at once - these were SAVIORS. Also used to rinse off dog's muddy paws before entering house. Mixing soil for transplanting orchids. Pedicures, because LOCKDOWN. Also HAT, because boredom/lockdown.

The measurements provided are the outside lips of the pan, not nearly as large as a standard dishpan to fit in a double sink and the interior depth is not really usable for washing dishes. It fits completely inside the 12qt Sterilite dishpan that I was trying to replace, with room to spare.

I have a small sink and these dishpan fit great. I also use them for cleaning. To get three pan for this low price was a very good deal

These pans were very sturdy. Just as described. Be aware that they are a little more narrow on the bottom than the measurement given for the top.

Ordered 12qt. Plastic dish pans. They looked very small. They are actually 9qt. Dish pans and I specifically needed 12qt. So this gets a bad review for incorrect advertising. Now I have to go through the hassle of a return and wait longer for the right ones. I will say though that this is my 1st bad Amazon review. And I order all the time.

My mom said they were very sturdy and were perfect for her kitchen use.
