This radio is a basic AM/FM radio. Nothing fancy and that's what I like about it. That it is quite simple. It works just like the radios that I owned in the 70s and early 80s. I wanted this because I own a parrot and I wanted him to have music to listen to while I am away. The last radio that I owned, if I turned the power off on it as I sometimes do, I would have to re- tune the radio and I would have to keep pressing the button until I got to the station I wanted. This one is not like that. You turn the knob and you get to the station you want right away. The radio has a good sound and you are able to tune into the channels you want very accurately. It's small enough that you can move it around to wherever you like and I like it because I am able to plug it in with the optional AC adapter. If you just want to listen to FM radio, this is definitely the radio to get. It's great for the price and as I said before, it has a great sound.

This is a great radio. I like the digital display. The speaker puts out good sound. It take 4 double AA batteries. It's very light weight and compact. I really great deal for price.

This is a simple, easy to use, and clear sounding radio. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be. I believe it could fit inside a cigar box. It has only one speaker so no stereo sound, but it is a very clear speaker. The sound quality is quite good, with acceptable volume. The reception is great. It will pick up all the expected stations in my area. Comes with an AC adapter and will also run on 4 AA batteries, not included. There is a jack for headphones. About the only thing I would consider a negative is that there are no presets so you have to use the dial.

This portable radio is really nice, it's handy, and functions well. You can use batteries or use the wall adapter. The sound quality is great!

Loved this radio! I especially like the digital tuning so there’s no guessing if you are totally on the station you want. The sound is good quality too. During a power outage, I had no problems with the batteries lasting a long time.

This radio works great. Nice display and controls. I am thinking of buying a 2nd one for my 85 year old mother because of display size and ease. Great product

A mid quality radio, is easy to use and set stations, the tuner is ok as the station reception ok at best and speaker quality although loud is not sharp and seems muffled, a downer. For the price its not a bad option for a very basic radio and nice styling.

This radio is capable of receiving solid FM broadcasts with a telescoping antenna. I have not tried the AM or Short Wave modes, but the reception is solid for FM radio signal reception. The radio is physically sturdy and appears rather durable . Excellent sound quality for the size of the device. It's not stereo quality and it won't be without stereo quality speakers, but it does have a headphone port and if one has high-quality earbuds or headphones such could likely be replicated. I have only used the AC power source, but it is shipped with batteries included. The radio is compact and can be taken practically anywhere. Most impressive is the quality of the digital tuner capable of picking up exact radio signals. For a radio that is meant to look retro it has incredible precision. Overall, this is a solid portable radio. It won't replace the sound quality of a high-end speaker system, but in terms of being able to receive a signal and relay it with its sound system, that it can do and that it can do well.
