I recently purchased the Seagate BarraCuda Internal Hard Drive HDD and I must say that I am impressed with its performance. The hard drive is easy to install and offers excellent value for money. I have been using this HDD without any bad sectors, and it works perfectly. I've had 2 lots of 4 of these drives running in my 4 bay NAS units in a RAID5 configuration (I know, I know, not recommended).. but the uptime of these drives has been outstanding considering I'm pushing them way beyond the recommneded boundaries of use. Until 2 days ago, they've been operational for 8 years with solid use with zero downtime. One failed 2 days ago, so 8 years for cheap drives is pretty good.

Great product

I will start off by saying that the drive I received is a 4TB Seagate drive and does (after a full format and surface test) seem to work fine. S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics report the drive as "GOOD." However it was manufactured in May 2015 and has been used/powered on for 32,826 hours which is 3.75 years. The drive is a Seagate "Skyhawk" Surveillance drive model: ST4000VX000, with a quoted MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of 1,000,000 hours. So, all being well, I could expect to have about 967,172 hours or 110 years of use out of it before it dies. For the price I paid this seems reasonable. However, it wasn't clear to me on Amazon (which may be down to me not reading things thoroughly) that I was purchasing a similar or equivalent drive to the BarraCuda, rather than an Amazon customer returned "like new" BarraCuda drive. If that is the case I think the seller could make make this clearer to customers. I sincerely hope the drive lasts for many years to come. However, if I do need to purchase a replacement from Amazon I will be paying very close attention to any 'returned', 'used' or 'like new' offers that might appear.

I’ve had this drive running in my Homebase 3 Eufy security setup for a while now, and it’s been working perfectly fine with no issues at all. It’s quiet in general, feels like nice quality, and performs smoothly. The only small downsides are that it does vibrate a fair bit and makes a bit of a sound that’s hard to describe. It can also get a little hot at times, but that seems perfectly normal. Overall, it’s been reliable, fast, and solid well worth it and I genuinely enjoy using it.

A good company and a good product. Easy to install. It works without any problems. I can only recommend it.

I bought 2 TB HDD for my Lenovo Gaming 3 laptop. watched some youtube videos to fix it my laptop. faced some challenge while attaching HDD to my new laptop. but after fixing it, its working good. worth to buy

Aslında 10000 rpm'lik hdd almak lazım ama kara borsaya düştükleri için alması zor. Piyasa maalesef 5000 rpm'li hdd'ler ile dolu. Ama siz yine de 7200 rpm'nin altına düşmeyin. Bu hdd'nin hızı yeterli, oyunlarlarda sıkıntı çıkarmaz. Forza 4'ü, 1tb'lik WD'den (7200 rpm 150 MB/s) bu hdd'ye taşıdım, oyun daha hızlı açıldı. HD Tune benchmark testi: Transfer Rate Minimum : 99.2 MB/s (225 ile başlıyor test tam biterken 99 mb'ye düşüyor.) Maximum : 330.8 MB/s Average : 299.0 MB/s Access Time : 0.4 ms Burst Rate : 225.4 MB/s CPU Usage : 29.4% (yazılan dosyaların boyutuna göre rakamlar doğal olarak değişebilir) Crystal Disk Mark testi: Standart 1 gb'lik dosya testi Okuma: 226.15 MB/s Yazma: 212.66 MB/s

Sehr gut geeignet für NAS und Geräte, bei denen es auf niedrigen Geräuschpegel ankommt, Schreib- und Lesevorgänge sind leise genug um nicht negativ aufzufallen. Schreibperformance ist sehr gut, ebenso die Leseperformance, hier gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Haltbarkeit muss sich noch zeigen, die Herstellergarantie von 5 Jahren weckt jedoch Vertrauen. Gutes Produkt, kann ich so empfehlen.
