These outlet covers are very easy to "install"... if you can turn a screwdriver, you can replace your current outlet covers with these protectors. My wife and I are expecting our first child so I bought these to baby-proof our home. The baby hasn't arrived yet so I can't say whether they'll stop a baby that's determined to stab something into an electrical outlet, but the outlets no longer present an inviting target of opportunity. These are also much more convenient than the usual outlet plugs -- instead of clawing at the plugs to pry them out every time you want to use the outlet, you simply slide aside these protectors. The two outlet protectors slide independently, so you can still plug in one device at a time while the other outlet stays protected.One warning: depending on how tightly you've screwed on the outlet covers, the slide that blocks the outlet may stay open when you unplug your device. You can either loosen the screws a quarter-turn, or easily swipe the protector closed yourself when unplugging.

am so satisfied with the self closing outlet covers. I have a new crawling son, and a super curious daughter who is 4 and these give me peace in knowing they are safe! I give them a 5. Super easy to install, took about 5 minutes all together! They look super nice too! We are using the self closing outlets downstairs of our home where our play room is and where we usually have kids playing. My daughter who is 4 years old even said, "now Dax(who is almost one) won't be able to stick anything in there" which she has been guilty of herself not too long ago. The extra plug protectors were a nice added bonus so I can use them upstairs of our home and in my daughters room since she is reaching an age of independence wants to play in her room more.

These are great for high use outlets and allow us to easily use the outlets we access most and the clear covers were great for outlets we rarely use, we did have one outlet cover where the plastic stopper was easily picked out by our daughter on one cover, the rest were nice and tight so I used a little crazy glue to keep her from picking that one back out, so that and on some plugs they are a little harder to keep plugged in like on my iPhone charger has to be pushed in just right to work was the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5

These outlet covers are such nice quality! They are easy to put on and look really nice also. They butted up to my wall nicely with no gaps. As long as you don’t over tighten them they slide over easily to plus the cord in. It’s basically the same as plugging it in normally, that is how easy and smooth the transition is. Very happy with the overall quality and polished look that they give as well! My only wish is that you could get a set with more plate covers and less of the plastic plugs. I prefer the one over the other because they are so much easier to use. I ended up ordering this product twice. But I have several left over plugs. Definitely would still recommend this product though!!

The "self-closing" outlet covers were easy to install, and they are difficult to slide over to plug things in. However, mine do NOT self-close when a plug is pulled out. So, if the baby unplugs something the outlet is accessible to them.

I love all of my wittle products! These do not disappoint. They are well made, sturdy, attractive, and work absolutely perfectly! So easy to quickly plug in and unplug whatever I'm using and it slides shut immediately, protecting my curious little ones. Thanks for great products that are centered on our needs. And I love the extra plug fillers for the outlets we don't use as often.

I installed these outlet covers but quickly realized they could be a serious fire safety hazard. The covers didn't fit securely over the outlets and would easily fall out, leaving the empty space vulnerable to sparks or other potential dangers. As a concerned parent, I immediately removed these covers and replaced them with a more secure option. I highly recommend avoiding these outlet covers and prioritizing safety regarding your home's electrical system.

These are completely amazing. Easy to install. I've used other brands where the plug cannot connect to the electricity bc the plate is too thick. No issue with these, all plugs connect perfectly. There is no way for baby to get their fingers in there, or to remove anything like they can with the push in plug cover types. I don't have to worry when she makes a beeline right for the outlets. We put these in the main living area, and used the plug type that came with it for other areas that she usually isn't in (just to be safe). I can't recommend these enough.
