These little planes are awesome in my opinion and truly a great gift for all ages. However, there are some things to know. Let me shine light on some small concerns from other reviewers so that you have heads up before flying this little “GEM”. If wind is above 5mph the plane and pilot will have trouble. Fly these planes in an big open area such as a soccer/football field, or park (Not a State or National Park). These are not for indoor use and need at least 200 sqft of space and lots of height to properly control them. …And yes I wish it was not “China Air Force” either but they are made in China. Reviewer problem #1 Plane will not fly or Doesn’t take off from the ground. Resolution - Try doing hand launches, they are fun and a more effective way to launch these little aircraft. 1. Try not installing landing gear at all and/or remove the landing gear and hand launch the aircraft. 2. My son occasionally uses the landing gear but on one of the 4 planes wee have the front wheel did not turn at all so the plane could not get enough speed to take off, since it was dragging a wheel. If you want to use the landing gear make sure all wheels turn nice and freely. If not, rotate thee wheels hand to see if you can free them up. Try some lubricant to see if that helps. 3. They simply fly better without the landing gear. The landing gear creates drag and the small little props will suffer, causing less power and quicker draining the battery (less flight time). We do however put the gear on occasionally to practice take off and landing on concrete. Had to fix the one front wheel. Reviewer problem #2 Motor comes off. Resolution - I have 4 off these planes 3 of which have suffered from the motor coming off. This is an area that could be improved on on these little RC aircraft. But we can mitigate the issues with the following suggestions. 1. Inspect AC before each take off this includes when you crash. When picking up AC from the ground where it crashed, always make sure both props are on the motors and that the motor is still attached. This is called Pre-Flight inspection and is fun for my son to do pre-flight just like a real AirCraft. 2. Use double sided sticky tape to reinstall motor. After reinstalling motor verify that the prop spins by finger and clears the airplanes wing. Reviewer problem #3 Remote loses connection more that 15ft away. Resolution - Send it back and get a new one as that one is defective. We have 4 of these and all of them can fly about a 80 to 90 yards (almost a football field) away before starting to have control issues due to losing connection. Reviewer problem #3 Plane is just just styrofoam and is broken almost immediately. Resolution - Understand that almost all small propeller powered RC aircraft are Styrofoam, even the very sweet $400+ ones. This makes them light enough to be battery powered and still fly. Birds have hollow bones filed with air to make them light so that they can fly. 1. These planes do not fly fast enough nor do they have enough mass to cause any real damage when crashing from flight, at least not from my experience with them. I can see a very strong wind gust grabbing one and ripping it through a tree. 2. Be cautious when handling the plane between flights as young flyers might smash the small vertical or horizontal stabilizers. Yes, us humans can easily crush this plane and the same with a $400 plane. Reviewer problem #4 The lights don’t work. Yes the lights are cool and the kids will love them... However it is cosmetic just like the "China AirForce" written on the plane. Resolution - Understand that lights are just for looks and does not effect the operation of the plane. Kids will enjoy the flying of this plane regardless of having lights or not. The lights also just drain the battery making shorter flight times. We have not installed the lights on any of the 4 that we have, I just explained to the pilots that they will get more flight time out of the battery without the lights, then they said then we won't put the lights on. Problem solved for me at least.

Our 10 year old Grandson loved his RC airplane! This simple, light design flew so easy and only landed in a tree once! 🙂 I recommend this fun plane for any age, I enjoyed it too.

Toys at this price range are always hit or miss, but this one is a particularly big miss. Go with one of the other brands. The motors are weaker in this than in comparable planes. The landing gear is a joke and adds too much weight. The motors are poorly glued on and fall off in flight. The controller is poorly designed and the thumb rests on the sticks aren't even secured in place. Do not waste your money.

Bought 5 of these for grandchildren for Christmas! They are lots of fun, and the range of flying with control is more than I would expect. However, they will break, and we needed to tape down the propeller engine with clear box tape, as they are glued on and a crash will dislodge them. Keep the extra propellers handy as they also will fall off. Also, the lights are cool looking, but will drain the battery life, so we took them off. After a week of heavy use, we are down to 2 planes which actually fly great!

We bought this and my son has loved it! Easy to fly and works well. Plus they have awesome customer service! Highly recommend.

The plane itself is good it's the wiring on ot. It's very hard not to damage when hooking and unhooking it to charge

If it wasnt so affordable I would give it 4 stars but for the price you can't go wrong. I have 3 boys and have been through plenty of rc cars, planes, etc. This is cheap enough that I wasnt too worried when they lost it twice in a field then finally broke the nose on it but it had a lot of flying and abuse before that. It's not the easiest to control but my 9 year old put it together and flew it many times with just a little help from his 15 year old brother. Kept them outside and off the screens!

The fighter Jet fan has been damaged and the cheap material have been used the remote have sketches and the front has been stick at from the tape it's a very bad experience to have it because the battery have been not come it's a scrap product from China

Worst product waste of money don't buy.its not working also damaged. This is a fake company their address and mobile number are incorrect.total scam u need to return the product by your own to the address provided but it's totally incorrect and fake.

Don’t understand how to fly this plane I tried so many times but still not flying. Very disappointed

My son used this hardly for a week and the wires are broken. It’s not working any more. Do not waste money by buying this product.
