I don't know what sort of black magic or unknown eldridge god they worked with to make this unscented deodorant but it's absolutely incredible (for me). I may be a unique case but some time ago I discovered I sweat less with deodorant than I do with antiperspirant for whatever reason. But I've always gotten a mild to severe rash under my arms when using most deodorant including ones labeled as "natural" and I tried a LOT of different brands (also charcoal deodorant makes me sweat like crazy for some reason). So I decided to try an unscented deodorant to see if the rash was cause by a fragrance allergy. Even when using deodorant with fragrance I found that Old Spice deodorant gave me a less severe rash than others. So I was happy to find that Old Spice had an unscented deodorant but skeptical that such a thing would work and keep me not smelling of awful unchecked BO. To be fair it took a few days for my body to get used to using the deodorant but now that it is I find that not only does this deodorant not have a fragrance, incredibly so, but also I don't stink whatever I use the deodorant and I have no idea how that happens. Also surprisingly I found that if I forget to put on the deodorant I stink less than I normally would. And most importantly I don't seem to be a developing any kind of rash from it which is an absolute win all around. I have no idea how a deodorant that doesn't smell like anything it doesn't have any antiperspirant properties makes it so that I don't stink and I also don't sweat excessively but this one does and it's absolute Magic to me. I wish they would sell bulk packs of this deodorant and also that they would make the similar magic formula and a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that I could use. 5 stars all around for my admittedly likely extremely niche case.

i have an excessive number of sensitivities/allergies to common ingredients used in deodorants nowadays, and ended up feeling stuck with a particular brand that is now over $17/tube. had switched to method deodorant thinking i'd found my permanent replacement, but then the scent i like most had an unexpected price hike to almost as much as my old brand, so i bought this as a holdover hoping it would work just as well, and that the price of my previous deodorant would come down. my partner also uses this scent and it works great for him, so i figured i would try it. turns out, it works great for me, too. will definitely use this againpros: gentle, lasting scent; goes on smooth; doesnt stain my clothes; keeps me smelling fresh all day; the formula doesn't give me hives or make me itch when i sweat like other brands havecons: just wish there were more scent options for this formula; melts a bit too quickly, leading to a lot of product buildup inside the cap

Smells really great! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was it was so smooth that a lot went on at once, making it not last as long.

Really impressed with this Whole Body Deodorant. The vanilla + shea scent is clean and not overpowering. It’s gentle on my skin, and safe to use anywhere. Keeps me fresh all day without irritation. Definitely a new go-to!

Update:Later in the day after I posted the OG review, I felt like I had razor burn in my armpit (I shaved about 2 weeks ago before this) but I didn’t look at my armpit. Then last night I looked in the mirror & saw that i had 6 huge, white head pimples all over my left armpit. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN PIMPLES IN MY ARMPIT EVER BEFORE! IVE NEVER EVEN GOTTEN BODY ACNE BEFORE! I’ve gotten razor burn & ingrown hairs but these are very different. They’re HUGE pus filled, painful pimples, some of them aren’t even where hair grows, they’re lower towards my ribs where obviously I don’t have hair growing..So yeah.. WTF? this deodorant is The ONLY thing I have used. I took a shower in the morning & used all of my normal products before using this deodorant. So yeah…it’s definitely not my normal products bc I have never seen or experienced anything like this before in my life. I would NOT recommend this. Or at the very least, do not put it on sensitive parts of your body. I’m so glad I didn’t use this on my lower half. Also, just FYI … I don’t have sensitive skin at all. So if you do, I’d stay far away from this stuff.I liked the idea of a whole body deodorant since I do work in the heat a lot & I sweat a lot & even though my armpits/rest of my body don’t ever get smelly, my feet do from time to time. But this stuff is not it. It’s super soft/creamy. It leaves behind a very thick layer.. almost like a thick balm or lotion & though it smells really good (subtle but nice) … it makes me smell absolutely horrible within an hour of using it. I thought yesterday was a fluke. But then this morning I took a shower, put it on & then I sat on my computer for about 45 minutes… not breaking a sweat at all & I got a whiff of BO & thought maybe my shirt was dirty. It wasn’t. I smelled my bare armpit & it smelled like strong BO. This never happens to me. I literally never get stinky like this w/ or w/out deodorant. Pretty bummed but nothing really works how it’s supposed to anymore. Guess I’ll go back to my Lush Aromaco.

this stuff worked so good on our trip to japan! it falls within the allowable carry on liquid regulations (because for some reason decent is a liquid?) japan doesn’t sell a lot of fragranced things, as wearing a lot of stuff like perfume and such is considered rude to those around you. we knew we would be doing a lot of walking, which means a lot of sweating and the risk of smell. we could use this in our armpits, thighs, behind the knees, and even feet, and it helped manage all the odor and kept us feeling fresh! this is perfect for travel or anyone who needs that extra protection from BO!
