Does what it says on the tin...........catches the spider then lets you release it, and due to the length of the handle you can do it from a distance!Its says you can use it for moths but I wouldn't try that as I feel that it may damage their wings, but I only bought it for spiders so its great

The product handle kept falling apart and malfunctioning. Worst of all, the insects kept escaping because the bristles wouldn’t close tightly enough. I bought 2 and both are ineffective.As a person with a severe insect phobia this was very distressing when the insects escaped!Very poor quality product. I have used these for years ( different brand) and they are usually fantastic, effective and delicate and don’t harm the insects.

This spider catcher arrives in two parts, which you click together. I had some issues where they kept popping apart, but if you use it really gently and don't press the trigger too hard it works fine. Saves me getting up close with a glass and paper!

I bought one of these before but I managed to break it, looking for a replacement I saw this that looked longer - and it is, but it doesn't close fully at the end like the other one did, so it lets smaller and medium spiders slip through, defeating the point!

Bought & used smaller version of this.Works well so think this will too! Longer handle will be very useful for spiders on walls or ceilings. Also if it is a big spider that you do not want to get too close to.Will recommend this if you dislike spiders as much as I do!

Very disappointed with this item.If it had cost £1.99 (probably it's true value) I may have just binned it and put it down to experience - but at almost £15, this is easily the worst item I've ever received from Amazon.Even before you open it, you can tell that it's nasty, cheap plastic rubbish that wouldn't last 5 minutes even if it worked.Perhaps I recieved a faulty one - just 30 seconds after assemby, I pulled the trigger to test it and the thing fell to pieces!Reassembled and tested again, this time the trigger fell to pieces.(If I'd have been tempted to keep this item I would have definitely superglued all the crappy push fit peices together)Reassembled again.. and a spider appeared in the living room... An ideal test subject.The spider was actually larger than the plastic one provided.I tried to catch it more than a dozen times.Each time the spider simply escaped the bristles quite easily.. then I waited till it paused again, repeat, escape, repeat, escape..A complete and utter waste of time and energy.Perhaps there is a knack to using this crappy thing but if there is, it probably needs hours of practice.I'm going back to a plastic sandwich box and a piece of card - much more effective.Don't waste your money on this rubbish.(item returned for refund)

The product arrived on time. The ending of the catcher doesn't close completely after you open it a few times which makes is not very effective. It definitely would not work for spiders of normal size, but I bought it for a gigantic spider that once showed up in my bedroom and it will hopefully work for that one. I didn't have a chance to try it on that monster fortunately. But I tried it on the plastic spider that comes with the set and the catcher is not able to keep it in -- the spider slips out. I also tried it on a small spider and as expected it wasn't able to catch it.

I am a total sh+t house with spiders of any size, shape and colour I will run away and cry this really works I've got rid of a Whopper in the kitchen with ease and no panicking due to longer handle I felt safer I'm so made up

Funkar precis som den ska (på plast spindeln i alla fall). Om du har lika stark spindel fobi som mig, var uppmärksam på att det kommer en stor svart plast spindel i paketet att öva på, och trots att jag normalt klarar av leksaks spindlar så var det ganska obehagligt.Men detta kommer vara till stor hjälp att kunna plocka bort spindlar på avstånd, så jättenöjd.

Hochwertig ist anders, aber die Anwendung ist für die ältere Dame ok.

Picking up spiders and insects. Extension made it too flimsy. Definitely not worth the money
