PEACE OF MIND AND INCREDIBLE SLEEP!
I rarely write reviews on products but I am writing about my experience because this product exceeded my expectations, and I'll tell you why!My son has slept in the SNOO since he was born. He sleeps like a champ in it BUT he is beginning to outgrow it, as he is a pretty large 4 month old... I knew it was time to get him transitioned to his crib during the day at naptimes so I started testing out a new sleep routine in his crib.He was doing okay sleeping on his back in his sleep sack BUT his startle reflex was hindering him from sleeping longer stretches. I began putting him in those swaddles that allow him to have his hands near his face. He loves them! BUT *sigh* he began rolling from back to front a few weeks after we implemented the daytime naps in his crib with said swaddle. He is not coordinated enough to move freely after he's rolled onto his face so I knew he wasn't quite ready to be left to his own devices when his new rolling trick kicked into high gear PLUS he still needs his swaddle for the startle reflex. And we all know once baby starts rolling the swaddle gets kicked to the curb!ENTER THE TRANQUILO SAFE SWADDLE!!! HOLY CRAP WHAT A LIFESAVER!First off, let me just say that I think this product is well-made and the velcro is nice and strong. We've probably all ordered an amazon product that was cheaply made and disappointing. Not so with this product. It's also certainly strong enough for my kiddo who arches his back and tries to launch himself onto his belly. Even when he's frustrated and trying to roll HE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE!What is so glorious about this product is I can pair it with the swaddle that allows his hands around his face due to the fact that the swaddle has a slit in the back near the bottom. I am able to unzip the bottom of the swaddle, slip the flap that goes between the legs through the slit and "buckle him in" snugly. My kiddo now has the swaddle he loves, his startle reflex is taken care of, he can even suck his little swaddled hands (can you say teething?) and it's all possible to this incredible swaddle harness thingy! The reason I said this EXCEEDED my expectations is because he sleeps BETTER with it than without it. I think the swaddle harness gives him the sensation of being snug and secure around his belly, kind of like a warm hug and tight, comforting swaddle.I can now do our naptime routine, lay him down, "buckle him in" and he drifts off to sleep without a peep for 3 hours. It's a beautiful thing.I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend this to any parent that wants the utmost peace of mind about their baby's safety.I feel so much better about transitioning him to the crib at bedtime now because I feel he is safe and unable to roll and become stuck facedown. When he can freely roll back and forth and is coordinated enough to be without this I will discontinue use but until then this is a lifesaver! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS TRANQUILO!!!

Immediate success in transitioning to crib!
My baby was only able to comfortably sleep in a RNP due to reflux. I knew I needed to start moving away from it but I was taking my time...until they were recalled! We knew we had to take action immediately.I had purchased this strap to try out but never got around to using it and was going to return it, so I went and grabbed it, strapped my baby in...and he’s slept in his crib since, no issue. The Velcro is loud, just like all the other reviews say, but that’s not an issue at all for our situation, he sleeps through the night. He has always struggled to sleep in new places...but this little clothes miracle has changed everything. He slept happily in a pack n play (with a nice mattress), a crib at his grandfathers house, his own crib. It’s almost like a security blanket so he feels comfort even in new places with this and his favorite blanket.I honestly cannot day enough good things about this device. Every attempt to transition to crib was a nightmare that ended with my baby standing at the side crying because he didn’t like to lay flat with no support. The literal first night we used this, it changed everything. So if you are worried about squirmy babies rolling and waking themselves up, transitioning from a supported/inclined sleeping apparatus, etc...this is what you want.Additional notes:• My baby has slept through the night for a while, he lays down wide awake and goes out on his own, that’s why the Velcro doesn’t bother us, and I never gave it any thought, but it is quiet loud.• My baby moved to the crib at around 8 months old. He is now 9 months old, 33 inches, and 25 pounds. I am still very comfortable using this product with his size, and mobility. I can tell he’s much more comfortable using this, than just rolling around in his crib.• I HAVE seen him sit fully up while strapped into this, once, when my husband hadn’t attached the bad to the mattress tight enough. It was in the morning so it wasn’t a big deal• To get a proper fit, I take the crib mattress all the way out of the crib, and lay it over the band so I can smooth it it, and ensure it’s on good and tight. Once I realized taking the mattress to the floor worked, attaching the band is a piece of cake.

Best thing sold on amazon for moms with postpartum anxiety
I would never sleep a single night with out this strap. I have been using this strap my son was 3 months old and he will not sleep with out it now. So much so that when I say him done ( now 7 months old) he will pull the strap over his belly and wait for me to put it on him! He can roll from side to side to get comfortable being NOT ON HIS STOMACH! That was and still is my BIGEST fear. All tho his doctor said he is safe now at 7 months to sleep without it because he can roll from tummy to back I KNOW we BOTH sleep better at knight with the strap. I know he is safe and he likes the feeling of being held. He will start to wake and he will roll and the strap will stop him from rolling and as soon as he feels that pull he goes right back to sleep! As if he where rolling in my arms. I make it loose enough that he can sleep on his side and he likes that. The Velcro is loud when you pull it apart to get them out of the strap but I don’t mind that because that means it’s safe and strong and does it’s job. I can take him out of the strap and him stay asleep if I peel it back really slow lol as not to make the loud noise to change his diaper. He WILL use this strap till he is 12 months! This is the best thing I have ever perched on Amazon and for a min struggling with postpartum anxiety this is A LIFE SAVER knowing my baby is safe while he sleeps.
