Heavy Crits
Arrived today, and was only discovered by my wife as she entered the house as it had been left on the doorstep, in the pouring rain, by the postman. Thanks, Royal Mail.First off, it's big and heavier than you'd expect. I know the weight is given in the description, but until you hold one of these in your hand you will not be able to appreciate its true weight.Second, rolling this is noisy on any surface that is not protected by a table cloth or gaming mat, and on bare surfaces this dice will bounce - so beware.Third, the number etching is lovely. The styling is also easy on the eyes and fits in beautifully, in both point size and aesthetics, on the dice surfaces.Last, but not least, appearance. this is where I was disappointed. In the advertised picture the dice looks a lovely coppery-orange, the one thing that swayed my choice of purchase against the gold and silver versions. In reality, its colour has more of a pinkish-purple hue to it which is darker than I'd like thus making the numbers stand out less so than in the advertised picture, especially in less than perfect lighting - and if any of you role players/GMs are like myself, the lighting is usually never full-on 100% (kills the atmosphere of a good rp session). So, to reflect this aspect I had to minus one star dropping it down to a four star rating.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine, and oh my sweet jesus did I instantly regret not getting one for myself.It has a really nice, balanced weight to it. When you roll it, you make a statement! The finish on the metal is beautiful, the trouble I usually find with bronze metal dice is they usually look rusty, but this one really does shine!Also, I need to comment on the box it comes in because it is just a great little touch, especially if you are getting it as a gift. It's like a ring box with a foam inlay to house the die, and (not sure if this was intentional) it's the 20 facing up.A must for anyone's dice arsenal.

Awesome dice
Awesome Dice, total table killer though! Comes in a nice little box with foam padding. I bought for myself but would make a great gift.
