Very happy!
Beautiful painting. Took about 1 week and worked on it for a couple hours a day. Colors were not exact to the picture but you can’t beat the value for the price. Very satisfying to paint. Some areas of the painting you may need a magnifier.

Bummed
The colors and numbers don’t match. Numbers that are printed on the canvas are different than the corresponding numbers printed on the paints. For example a number on the canvas is suppose to be orange, but the paint labeled with that number is green.

Enjoyable for this experienced crafter
I painted the deer version. This item is NOT ideal for a beginner or someone who doesn't have great eyesight. I have been tackling paint-by-numbers and have a general artsy background so this was an enjoyable project for me. Once I ironed it out, I got to work.✔️Paints were all appropriate consistency and I had enough of everything, but I did come close to using up a couple of the blues.✔️ This is the paint-by-number I have spent the most amount of time on. Usually I can get them done within spare time in under 2 weeks but this one took me closer to 3-4 weeks. I didn't mind because it was pleasing to watch it come together.✔️ Colors were vibrant and pretty.⚪ Most of the paints covered the numbers well enough with one layer. A few were blotchy or more opaque so they required another coat.⚪ Some of the paint colors were so close to each other visually that they probably could have just been one color.❌ The print and numbers are not always perfectly clear. Some of the numbers can be hard to read and then the backup sheet with numbers on it was smaller than the canvas so you still couldn't make out the numbers anyways. This kit had so many colors that I could just guess if a color looked to be right for that area, or if the area was so small that it wouldn't be noticed as missing, I just covered it with a paint color next to it.For the amount of enjoyment I got out of this, its value was great. Just make sure you are ready to commit to the level of detail in it!

This simple paint by numbers will leave you frustrated and dissapointed
I purchased the deer/elk landscape one thinking it would be a simple and fun little project as an entry into painting but it became the opposite of that. All it gives you is a small business card like size portrait of the finished piece and one copied piece of paper of "directions" thats even smaller numbers thats printed on the canvas itself and the canvas numbers itself is hard to see in certain spots. I thought It would be step by step sections of directions like the greys and whites onto the coloring and finally into the fine details that way it would be easier to follow and complete it but instead its just an overwhelming jumble of microscopic numbers that you need to find like wheres waldo. So If your thinking of picking this up be sure to have a giant magnifying glass.
