I purchased this on recommendation from a friend, having found myself often lethargic and fatigued, despite eating fresh, home cooked food and getting a decent amount of daily exercise. I've been taking a tablet a day for the last 3 weeks after dinner and noticed the improvement probably within 8-10 days of starting. Whereas before I'd need to have a rest in the afternoon, or drift off on the sofa once the kids are put to bed (far too early for a 40-something!) I now find my energy levels far more consistent throughout the day, which in turn has led to better sleep at night. Given that the only change I have made is adding the Maca Root tablets to my routine, I'd not hesitate to recommend people give this a try, and stick to it. It's not an instant fix, but worth persevering with and you'll notice the results soon enough. I can't comment on the taste as they are swallowed while with water, but they are fairly small and easily taken. I will be buying these on an ongoing basis as I don't want to go back to feeling how I did before I started. I hope they work for everyone reading this as they have for me.

I used to add raw Maca root powder straight on top of my overnight oats, just before eating. I always thought it tastes quite reasonable, a bit like an old-fashioned famous malted drink. It does taste better if you don’t let it sit for too long, and don’t leave it overnight in your oats, as the flavour changes. I know that many people aren’t particularly keen on the taste, but still wish to benefit from taking it. Another way to consume it is to add the powder to a smoothie, but if you don’t happen to drink smoothies as part of your diet, then these tablets could be just what you’re looking for. These tablets are such good value for money, as you only need one per day. There are enough in this bag to last one person a whole 6 months. I hate it when I look at product ingredients and see a list of unrecognisable additives, but actually, I don’t feel quite as bad about these as I normally would. Apart from a good strong dose of Maca extract, equivalent to 6 grams of powder per tablet, they contain only Dicalcium Phosphate D.C., Microcrystalline Cellulose & Magnesium Stearate and Silicon Dioxide. After doing a bit more research, the Dicalcium Phosphate D.C. provides a source of calcium and phosphate, which could be beneficial to vegans who may not get enough in their diet due to lack of dairy products. The Microcrystalline Cellulose is not absorbed by the body at all, and is a form of indigestible dietary fibre, which could actually reduce cholesterol. That leaves Magnesium Stearate, which is an anti-caking agent that stops the tablets from sticking together and the Silicon Dioxide is is a natural compound made of silicon and oxygen.

I bought Maca capsules from Wellbeingpro in the past and was extremely pleased so thought I'd try in tablet form. These are much easier to swallow and seem to have the same effect so top marks in that respect. Must say I was a alarmed when reading a couple of reviews that stated the seller did not provide proof to back up any claims. My concerns quickly evaporated once I received all manufacturing documentation merely hours after requesting. Reading those reviews again it's clear the baseless claims are nothing but attacks by competitors trying to discredit an honest business. I find it outrageous that Amazon allows such blatant slander to occur. Do better!

Been taking for a few days and I already feel more energetic and school runs don’t feel as much of a chore any more. Was looking through other reviews and a little put off by the small business as worried others said about it. but there is nothing cheap about, it it’s good quality packaging and a product that really works so we should be promoting them more!

Only been taking for a few days and already noticing my stress levels decrease and increased energy and libido. Tablets are easy enough to swallow and love the compostable packaging. Would definitely recommend!
