This is a great multi-bit ratcheting screwdrive
I use this for work and I have to say it is the best multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver that I have ever used and the price is crazy affordable for what you get. I have a Klein ratcheting screwdriver as a back-up, but I never touch it. This is essentially a rebranded MegaPro screwdriver at a much better price. It has a very precise mechanism in the it low back-drag while ratcheting. The shaft is narrow to get into tight spaces. I could go on and on about how great it is. I have no complaints whatsoever. Good job to Channellock for taking advantage of MegaPro's great design that already existed instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and make their own version.

Bought as a gift
I saw this reviewed by the New York Times Wirecutter staff and ordered it as a gift. Naturally, I checked it out first (LOL) and was very happy with it. My dad had a similar tool that we all loved to use and I think this one will perform just as well. If you have limited space, an all-in-one hand drill & screwdriver is a great tool to have available. I hope my gift recipient will be happy with this tool for many years.

One of the best tools I own
I purchased this screwdriver four years ago based on Wirecutter's recommendation, and continue to be impressed. I used it to hand-drive some stubborn pocket screws for a heavy-duty shelving project in the garage--I was applying about as much force as I could for the better part of an afternoon, and the tool held up just fine. Many episodes of similar abuse over the last few years don't seem to have degraded performance at all. Pretty pricey for a screwdriver, but it's been worth the money.

Very handy and well made
If you need just one utility screwdriver, this would be a great choice. All the standard bits are conveniently and securely stored in the handle. The ratcheting feature will save wear and tear on your hands and wrists when doing repetitive work.

Good screwdriver, wish it had a different design
For $30 these bits should be magnetic, but they designed it with a detent ball in each bit to hold it in the screwdriver, so only their special bits work which kinda sucks.

This is the bomb
I got this after wirecutter reviewed it and wow. I just moved into my house and it is fantastic. Never thought I needed a ratchet on a screwdriver but it makes using it so much easier! Put up my video doorbell in no time! And the different heads storing in the handle means I won't lose them. It has already paid for itself after 10 days. The best mama's little helper yet (ok maybe wine gets first place).

Very good!
It seems that the quality has improved a lot on Megapro/Channellock ratcheting screwdrivers since last year when I bought a 7 in 1 Compact and a 13 in 1 Automotive. They are good drivers but their shafts are loose, wobbly and rattly. The Channellock driver I recieved today does not rattle and the shaft has only negligle movements. Its directional selector (left, locked, right) is more distinct and much improved. I am well pleased with this Channellock screwdriver.I have no use of the Torx and Robertson bits so I replaced them with Megapro's metric hex bit set. Unfortunately their sizes have been most unwisely selected. I have never seen a 5.5 mm Allen screw in all my 50 years working life. The sizes 2 x 2.5mm, 3 x 4mm and 5 x 6mm had been more useful. When I hold this driver in my hand I wonder if the famous S-O ratcheting driver, costing the double price, can be any better than this Channellock. The S-O driver's bit compartment holds only four bits and has an antique screw cap. Compare that with Channellock/Megapro's clever bit storage.

DON'T SCREW UP. BUY THE BEST.
I've been disappointed by more multi-bit screwdrivers than I can count over the years. I have a drawer full of handles all missing half their bits, yet, the compulsion to search for the perfect screwdriver remains as strong as ever.Up until now, the auto-loaders have been as close as I can come to adequacy and two are needed and they do not ratchet. After recently completing two jobs that required standing on a ladder for an hour, I'm sold. Granted, the chance of dropping a bit still exists but all in all, this is the best screwdriver yet. It is solid, designed well and works smoothly even in tight places and the bits do not fall out with every little bump. They have to be pulled out with some force. Even so, if you are crawling around with it in your pocket, you might want to store all the bits in the handle because something could get screwed up that a good screwdriver won't fix.MADE IN CANADA is stamped on the red part of the handle.Only one problem remains:Most DIY'ers keep screwdrivers in every vehicle, ATV, workshop and toolbox they own. And in my case, so far, this one screwdriver does not want to be where I need it when I need it.One of any tool is never enough.
