My sisters and I purchased this watch for my 84 year old father. He had it three months and it broke. The side button collapsed and now it doesn’t work. It’s a shame. Better to buy an iPhone that has the same emergency feature. 😡

Use for alert to family in case of fall

I dislike the heaviness of the watch on my wrist, plus it's almost too big for my small wrist. I know it calls 911 but I can't get it to set my location. I have to get an app for steps. It works perfectly for time, pulse, heart rate.

5 star for it's fall detection + 911 dialing, no monthly cost, time telling watch, which looks good on men, and is ideal for the man/father who is not tech savvy, and aware enough to tell 911 his location during a fall or other emergency, because 911 sees the location as the cell tower being used.My problem is that my father fits the demographic, except that when he falls, he has been unconscious. While the watch is too big and masculine looking for my mother, who broke both hips, to consider wearing. I would be tempted to wear myself as an old fashioned $5 a month no data backup flip phone, in lieu of my smart watch, but so far, my neither AT&T nor T-Mobile SIM worked in the watch and I draw the line at $5/ month for yet another phone line .The watch lacks essential heart rate, oxygen rate on the home screen, for my father's needs. The printed instructions lacked the QR code for the Android app, and the QR code is too small on the watch for any of my 12 Smart phones and tablet to read.The watch has 7 Fall detection settings. Number 3 setting works very well, but for a sendintary person that doesn't use their hands for work. Setting number 4 works better for people who use their hands. All other fall settings seem to be either too sensitive or too insensitive.I tested 2 other 911 dialing devices only this and the other skyAngel911 device has decent cell reception and could reliably make calls in different parts of two cuties and fringe cell areas that i tested. But again,911 thought I was at the cell tower, 1.5 Miles away, each time I called.I am having trouble getting my mother to wear the necklace versions, and she would only wear this watch if it were a more feminine color and size.The watch narrowly misses the mark to fit the demographic of my father, My mother, and myself. Most female falls are hip breakage, while Male is unconscious, making the need for a female version of this watch a huge need. I also have an aunt who needs this, but also would not be caught dead wearing a man's watch, despite their owners cousin laying on the floor for days before dying on the floor just a few years ago.

Side button broke and not working properly

Watch has many good features,but without being able to call 911 (I live 3 miles from a cellular antenna) it is useless for its purpose.

Need a user manual as I am too old to figure out the watch on my own. Utube has not helped.
