I have a habit of knocking the lens cap off my camera lens, which then risks the lens itself. Having lost two lens caps within several months, and about to go abroad, I wanted to reduce the risk, so I wouldn't face a potential several days of holiday with no lens cap. This was great. I threaded the string through the little hole on the cap, and fixed, then tied the other around the lens. This meant that I could have the cap dangling, and, when it did get knocked off (it did), it was still safe. The pack meant I could also take a spare - but then never needed it.The cap itself fitted my lens well (24-70mm canon), and the pinch mechanism was good for fixing it in place - it didn't fall off of its own accord - this only happened if I knocked the cap itself at an angle.

Acceptable quality, very useful
For this price, getting three of these lens caps is great. The quality isn't the best (the pinch motion is a bit creaky) but they do fit perfectly and make life a lot easier. I ordered the 46mm filter size, ideal if you're using one of Olympus's primes for Micro Four Thirds with their deep hoods. The m.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8 lens has a biggish (optional) metal hood and the cap that Olympus supplies is pretty hard to remove and refit when the hood is on – these centre-pinch caps fix that problem. Ditto (to a lesser extent) the m.Zuiko 25mm f/1.8.

Does what it says on the tin !!
Ordered these and they came very fast indeed. They are obviously not the best lens caps but for the money I really don't think you can fault them. The stick on safety cord is the ideal length and I have had one on since they were delivered with no sign of looseness at all.For the money I can't really fault them.Hope this helps.Michael.

Out of the 3 that arrived one didn't work at all and one broke almost immediately. The other one seems fine so far. Luckily I only needed one- EditThey saw this review and sent me 3 more without me even raising a claim. 2 stars added! New ones working fine

Much cheaper
if you lose as many lens caps as I do , buy these, they are great. I have a Nikon 4s... don't be afraid to lose a branded lens cap!

A modestly priced product that works
The bundled lens caps seem to work well. They are not quite as well made as the propriety ones, but the price is very attractive.
