Solid value and quality. Recommend this reel to be your budget friendly lever drag.
A solid lever drag real for the price.Great fish fighting power, can real almost effortlessly even under extreme load.Drag says 33lb I believe, I put it to the test. When cranked down fully the fish could still outpull the Drag, but to be fair this black drum was a fish for a larger size reel to fight.Only con per say is... the lever drag takes some time to set where you like it, and isn't always consistent in resistance. But if you're willing to play around and figure out what the reel likes to be happy, it's overall well worth the money.

Great Reel for the price
These are great reels for the price point. Perfect for saltwater salmon and bottom fishing. The large handle allows you to keep up with a fish that is running towards you which is when a salmon is likely to spit the hook. The drag is easily adjustable while fighting a large fish and unlike a star drag is easy to get at when you need to. The reel also has the backbone to reel in big Lings from the bottom.

Decent reel
Not a bad reel. I use it for bottom fishing (scup, black sea bass, blues). The handle is nice and big and is easy to turn. The release mechanism could be a bit better, but it's OK.

They are easy to use and perform well with 25# "one shot" ...
We use these for salmon and an "incidental halibut" on a regular bases on 3 bottom tracker down riggers. They are easy to use and perform well with 25# "one shot" mono.

Cant say enough good things about this reel
Cant say enough good things about this reel. Perfect for your angling guest that cannot work a non-level wind reel offshore, will save you a lot of headaches. Holds enough line for a kingfish run and powerful enough to haul in a sea donkey! Great reel for snapper also. Definitely have to change the handle for my liking tho.
