This face cream is vegan and gluten free which I'm happy to know. Gluten can't be absorbed in a detrimental manner but using face creams, I have to be careful not to ingest any from my lips or even hands. Just being careful. I'm glad this cream is gluten-free. I had trouble finding any gf cream!

I got to try this product as part of the Amazon Vine program. I was thrilled to get to try it. I have tried a lot of different face creams and this is one of my favorites. The ingredients are amazingly pure and soothing. Calendula is one of the best herbal extracts to smooth irritated skin. I am not sure why the one reviewer said this isn’t very moisturizing - I find it extremely moisturizing. I have dry skin too and this has worked wonders on my face.It may sound weird, but I have to put skin cream or lotion on my feet before bedtime. I can’t fall asleep unless my feet are smooth. This lotion is a absolutely wonderful on my feet before bedtime. It is my number one go-to every night and well worth the price for the good nights sleep I get by using this on my feet.I am extremely satisfied with this product. That is my honest opinion. I am not paid in anyway to say good things about products. I get to try the product for free and that is all the compensation I get. I can truly say this is a fabulous, fresh, pure, wonderful product. I absolutely love it!!!

I have dry skin and this lotion is a bit weak as far as the moisturizing goes compared to some other products. It has a thin consistency and absorbs very fast, so I have been needing to apply more product to achieve the moisturizing effect. Once enough of the lotion gets absorbed, it does help keep the skin from flaking throughout the day. The smell is very pleasing and lingers on the skin for a while. Not sure what exactly I am smelling though, because there are a lot of ingredients and the calendula itself is closer to the bottom.I do not particularly like the bottle design. It is a skinny glass bottle with a pump and a tall plastic base that makes the bottle appear even taller but is an unnecessary feature. While it looks elegant, it is not very practical. The pump does not work very well and dispenses tiny ribbons of the product. I am hoping this is not an issue when there is less product left in the bottle. I would have preferred the container to be a plastic tube so I could easily get the product out to the last drop. Other than that, the lotion itself is pleasing and I may explore other products from this company.

I love that this is organic. The product page says it contains alcohol and mineral oil however these or not listed in the ingredient label - the is a picture of the ingredient label on the product page. This is mild and somewhat soothing to my skin probably because the primary ingredient is aloe. It does not irritate my dry sensitive skin. To me it has a mild pleasant scent - similar to the scent of a cut twig from a fruit tree that I smell when pruning. It is not super moisturizing but it does sink in quickly - I have very dry skin so I need to add a few drops of oil to the lotion before patting it on and then I am good to go. I like the pump dispenser because I like to have a measured dose.

I love putting this face lotion on! That’s something I never thought I’d say. It does instantly soothe my skin. (Maybe the aloe vera in it?) I love the natural ingredients. It does have the characteristic yellow color and earthy smell of calendula. It isn’t runny though. It has a good consistency. It moisturizes well without leaving a greasy feeling. My skin has been clear since I started using this. The only possible negative I could potentially see is the strong calendula smell since it’s being applied to the face. I got used to it quickly though. I’m really glad I gave this face lotion a try! I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing lotion! My husband has had dry patches on his face for years. He was a daily cortisone users until he started using the calendula face lotion. I love that his daily cortisone use has subsided. Great product!

The smell is lemony and nice. But after application I felt like I had a crusty mask on my face. Also it wasn't moisturizing enough for me, but my face is so dry it's flaky, so probably fine for average dry skin. I had to apply 2-3 times a day.
