I found myself having problems with the installation due to my own limited technical experience. I contacted ATOTO on numerous occasions asking for assistance with the installation and configuration. In fact it would be fair to say I made myself a bit of a nuisance. However, Fannie from ATOTO customer services came to my assistance on each occasion with either comprehensive written instructions, configuration settings, diagnostic work throughs and videos. She really really went out of her way to help me, which I can't personally thank her enough for and ATOTO. They do support customers and they can be relied upon to keep there promises to do just that. As for the product I am totally delighted with it, it is night and day over my stock Qashqai head unit. Well done ATOTO!

Installing this with the supplied hardware didnt really work for me - I needed something without the gap. I used the cage, side supports but left out the supplied mounting bracket as it didnt line up with the holes in the car. This replaced an after market radio so I had the proper mounting bracket for my car anyway. You'll want to check out your electrics to confirm your stock radio harness provides the expected connections. For some reason my red cable (ignition) was a permanent power, with the previous radio shutting down on a timer. This resulted in the Atoto not powering off when you turn off the ignition, effectively being permanently powered on, even when switching off from the front panel. Checked the fusebox and patched the Acc from there to the radio harness instead. Problem solved - it shuts down when the ignition is turned off. Needed a Fakra adapter for the aerial of this car as well as connecting it up to the power antenna cable of the radio. Some Wago connectors used for this - previously I would have soldered the cables, but hey if it works, why not! The only other accessory I bought was the AC-HD03LR, a camera used for the simulated panoramic view. This gives an overhead view after calibration and works remarkably well for a single camera implementation. You run a trigger wire from the Reverse light positive back to the Atoto so it can show the overhead view when you start to reverse. However I found the +ve of the lamp was a pulsed signal, not a steady 12v. The symptoms of this is, the camera switches fine when key is in Acc but engine is not running. When Acc and engine on, reversing does not trigger the camera. To solve this, use a 12v rectifier filter. All is well after that! The review was meant to highlight the tweaks you may need depending on your model of vehicle. My experience was on a VAG. The radio this replaced was more simpler, but when it broke I thought a radio is a radio and swapped back the oem radio. It was terrible! This S8 MS is so much better and just takes the driving experience to a new level. Being android opens up possibilities for geo-fence home automation and so much more. Anyway it beats a two line LCD CD/mp3 radio for sure!

For the money would expect it to work and the support is pathetic. Radio failed 1st and then bluethooth doesn't delivery on the promises made.

Der Einbau war sehr umfangreich, zumal viele Zubehörteile (Adapter) erforderlich waren. Die Android Oberfläche ist mir zuviel blinki-blinki gewesen, sodass ich daher einen Launcher eingesetzt habe. Somit wurde alles viel übersichtlicher gestaltet und man hat wirklich nur die Anwendungen die man während der Fahrt braucht auf dem Display. Ich würde mich jederzeit wieder für ATOTO entscheiden!

Possedevo la versione precedente, questo sembra molto più reattivo ai comandi, durante i primi test si è comportato discretamente. Ho avuto un problema con la lettura della sim ma dopo aver contattato l’assistenza mi sono state fornite varie operazioni per poter risolvere il problema e una di queste ha funzionato. Rispetto alla versione precedente sono stati modificati alcuni cablaggi dietro, rendendo necessario quasi totale sostituzione dei cablaggi preinstallati tranne quelli della retrocamera. Come sempre l’installazione richiede un minimo di manualità. Provate entrambi i connettori iso (cambia che due fili di alimentazione sono invertiti). Aspetto con impazienza che arriverà la funzione di aggiornamento software automatico direttamente dallo stereo.

Der erste Eindruck: toller Lieferumfang. Zweiter Eindruck: passt nicht ohne Einbaurahmen und Adapterkabel in einen T5. Leider war dieser Umstand nicht so einfach vorab zu ermitteln. Der Einbau des Displays mit kleinen sichtbaren Schräubchen ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dritter Eindruck: nach einer gewissen Experimentierphase, kommt man mit dem Gerät ganz gut zurecht. Spätestens beim Firmware-Update hört der Spaß aber auf. Die Website ist eher schlecht als recht, sagen wir minimalistisch. Man soll ein Bild von dem Gerät machen, was schon merkwürdig ist. Ich empfehle die Exif-Daten zu entfernen. Dann soll man sich registrieren. Die AGB und nutzungsbedingungen auf englisch habe ich mir dann nicht mehr angetan und den Vorhang abgebrochen. Sehr enttäuschend, da ohne Ipdates ein Android-Gerät schnell zu einem wertlosen Backstein werden kann!

Radio Android con muy buen sonido, definido y potente. Instalado en un Seat Leon Mk3. Calidad de pantalla mucho mejor que otras, con mejor ángulo de visión (se ven los mapas con gafas de sol polarizadas sin problema). Buena conexión inalámbria a Android Auto una vez configurado correctamente. Excelente servicio de atención al cliente, contestan por email en menos de 24 horas y resuelven las dudas. Calidad del micrófono mucho mejor que otras radios que he probado.

The UI quality is terrible, they needed to create custom audio stream channels for Radio and Music separately, which of course can't be modified their values separately... this ended up blowing up my speakers because of the difference of volume between Music Stream ans Radio Stream. The only way to fix this is VOIDING THE WARRANTY by going to Settings, press system submenu 4 times consecutively and fast (wait 3 seconds) and input 3368, then select audio balance menu and Tadaa there it is... now you can change the Streams volumes as you want. WHY??? ATOTO seems to not know how to make good software :-(
