As usual Sally our beloved fat ginger feline loves these. Worth the price and has fabulous health benefits especially for cats that are a bit poorly or have a compromised immune system from the latent feline herpes virus.

Excellent product for my little Spicy I adopted as a kitten. I spent a great deal on vet visits and eye drops, ointments and pills that only would help, if at all, for a few weeks to a few months. Her eyes would tear and irritate her to the point she would rub and rub. Then her third eyelid would come out and swell up like a cherry to the point she couldn’t see and hide. Sometimes in both eyes. Her whole disposition would change. You could tell it hurt and made her withdraw. I was mortified and knew I had to take her to the vet right away. She was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and a herpes disease that is very common in shelters and rescue facilities where kitties are. I was never told this when adopting her or I would have had the adoption facility explain to me exactly what she had and had them treat her property. I was given all these meds, going back and forth to vets and specialist for her eyes. Nothing helped long term. I was extremely frustrated and upset. I felt I had to do my own research to help my little baby, where the vet doctors failed her in their treatments. That’s when I came across Vetri Lysine Plus. I read the reviews and did research on it. Decided to Ordered it. Hoping it would help her. She loved the taste and ate it in small pieces I gave her. It helped her tremendously. I give it to her twice a day. She now runs around the house and plays. She’s a very happy kitty. If only the vets told me about this product, it could have saved me time, money and the pain my little Spicy endured and went through. She does get a flare up once in awhile, but nothing compared to before. I will continue to use it, and very thankful for VetriScience for making a very good product for cat owners like me and my little Spicy.

I have 2 nearly identical cats and they both love these. Except - One of the cats is fairly picky, and about a year ago I got a batch of 3 bags that he refused to eat. Took a sniff and walked away. I still had a few in an old bag, and he ate those. The next batch was fine, and all the subsequent batches have been fine, until yesterday, when I got another batch that he will not eat. So something appears to be different in two of the batches I have purchased over the years. Maybe my cat can get a job in their QC department?

I have three cats, one of which was born with some upper respiratory issues and is prone to infections, and the other is prone to weepy, goopy eyes. Vet recommended we put them on Lysine years ago, and it has always kept them healthy so long as I continue the regimen. When I got lazy and stopped for a while, their symptoms definitely returned and I ended up having to take the one cat to the vet for breathing issues due to infection. I stopped being lazy about it. I give them about 5-6 treats in their dry food every day, and I also started mixing Lysine power into their wet food. The evidence may be anecdotal at best, but I have to think this is contributing to keeping them healthy. The treats are normally dense, with a little moisture to them, but sometimes I get bags that are a little drier than others, but they still eat them. My third cat does not like the treats, but does eat the wet food with the Lysine powder in it without complaint. Here is a link to the powder my vet recommended that I have been using as well. I put 2-3 scoops in their wet food in the morning, and I add a little bit of water to thin it all out a bit. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FULBT4?keywords=lysine%20powder&qid=1453566163&ref_=sr_1_12&sr=8-12 Hope that helps.
