These are quite sturdy, but it remains to be seen if they'll last for multiple seasons. I have no reason to doubt if they will, however I can't peer into the future either.

A little tricky to put on if you're standing. I suggest sitting down to do so, but you can still put them on yourself while standing if you can support yourself against a wall for example. Worked great for walking around Iceland in December. Quality product.

Fix the boot very well and great to use in on the ice

I kind of knew from the photos of the metal grips that they would work well on ice. They do. I'm in the Colorado Rockies; lots of snow and ice. People kill themselves all the time by falling on ice. And no grips are 100% foolproof, so take my advice--don't ever get too confident on ice--ever. The rubber is a little flimsier than it should be; one of the grips came off the heel part of one of my pairs. But overall, for the price, they're pretty good, I think. Ordered only one pair originally, but now own three.

They work like they are supposed to.

Let me first say that they are mostly effective, they kept me from sliding on ice and snow while walking at work, which was my main goal. However, the back half of the ice grips do not stay where they should. After wearing for a while, they move forward into the middle of my boot which makes the back ones ineffective eventually. Also, the front grips are too closely grouped together making them awkward to walk on. If they were spread wider apart they would be more comfortable to walk on. If you are using them for short walks they would be ok, but not great for a 10 hours work shift where you are walking almost constantly.

I got these for my husband, and so far these have been great. They have a little flex which helps fit over different sized boots/shoes. We’ve been having a lot of icy rain and these help my husband to grip the ground for safety. We’ve used them twice and so far they have held up.

I have worn these twice while walking on ice and snow. The total miles walked is approximately 6 miles, 3 miles each time. On the second use, The rear bottom cleat ripped away. I know these were only approximately $10, but this item had good reviews. I did not experience good use on these at all. Next cleats will be purchased from a more reliable manufacturer.Review Update:I sill stick by my review, but the company is of high class, they have refunded my purchase price. Not to many companies do this. Thus, the appear to stand by their products

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada where we have lots of snow and due to fluctuation of temperature snow converts in to ice, results, too much slippery.I slipped twice and hurt my back badly. Ich hatte schon einmal welche, da fielen nach und nach die Stollen ab. Außerdem verdrehte sich der Sitz.Dies ist hier nicht der Fall. Die Stollen sind gut vernietet und haben letzten Winter viele Kilometer Hundespaziergänge lang gehalten. Da in Parks und auch auf Gehwegen immer häufiger nicht gestreut wird, sind diese Steigeisen einfach unentbehrlich für mich als Hundebesitzer geworden.

Hemos hecho un viaje a Islandia y los de la agencia nos dijeron de llevar crampones. Cogimos este tipo por su comodidad. Muy fáciles de poner y quitar. Se guardan en el bolsillo .
