I’ve been using the Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind Electric Grinder daily for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how much value this compact appliance adds to my kitchen. I think it is great does what other grinders do and not as loud. Still not silent but noticeably quieter other grinders used and seem. Only things different is it does 12 cups of coffee instead of 14 like the other one I had. Also it needs to come with a small brush with built-in brush storage on the side like the other one had. Other than that this is a great grinder for my small grinder needs. No need for grinding presets I just hold the button down for around 10-12 seconds and I get great flavorful finely ground coffee beans for my morning coffee.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I do like my eggs. I purposely bought this to grind up egg shells so I can use the calcium in my garden for my tomatoes and other plants. Putting crushed egg shells in compost or in the ground takes a very, very, long time to break down to be useful. So grinding them to a powder is what works.This grinder is great for pulverizing egg shells (after they are well dried) into powder. It only takes a couple pushes on the power button and they are finely ground. I don't know how it is with coffee beans but cleaning it is a little pain as the powder gets into the crevices of the cup area. You're probably not supposed to do this, but I give it a quick rinse under the faucet and let it completely dry before I try using it again. I probably build up enough egg shells over 2 months before I use it again anyway, so it's well dried out.

We make coffee nearly every single day. Our first purchase of this grinder lasted about 3 years before the wiring broke at the base from bending during unwrapping. The second purchase? Less than a year, same issue, even though we were extra careful when unwrapping it this time. Despite that fact, I am about to purchase this product for a 3rd time.The removable chamber makes it so much easier to not make a mess when pouring grounds into the filter, and makes clean up a breeze. I love that I could, in theory, use it for both coffee and spices with washes in between (I've never done it). The grind quality is pretty good (for drip coffee maker) and it works quickly, though is slightly loud. I like that the cord wraps up and is stored in the bottom, however a design improvement would be to move the hole that the wire comes out of slightly clockwise so that the cord is never bent backwards. (for my next one I will unscrew the extendable bottom and turn it myself, though the way it is designed you would have to complete an entire quarter turn so will only work if the cord is wrapped tightly enough. )Note: We only make 6 cups of coffee per pot, so filling the chamber to the top works well for us, however, if we have guests over we do need to refill and grind a second time to make a full pot.

I was given some coffee beans as a gift and needed a grinder. I ordered this one because of positive reviews and an affordable price. the order arrived quickly, was well packaged and damage free. I have had it for a several months now and have no issues so far. It does a great job at grinding the beans, doesn't make a mess everywhere and is easy to store when not being used.I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it works, and because of how easy it is to use - I don't mind buy coffee beans. =0)

Good quality. I havent ground coffee beans in it but I regularly grind spices and nuts like cashew etc. It works very well and its easy to cleanup.

I've been using this coffee grinder for a few months and am very pleased with it. It is far quieter than my old Krups grinder, and the design is well thought-out. The cord is quite short, but that hasn't been a problem for me. It is great being able to store the cord and also remove the grinding cup for cleaning. It quickly grinds my coffee to my satisfaction.
