Much nicer than the el-cheapo version at the local box store
Made out of pretty durable material. The compartment for adding water for ballast to keep it oriented is a great addition. Pro tip: fill that compartment first -- then inflate w/air. Our kids and their friends have had a blast with these. Highly recommended for summer fun.

A HIT!
Bought this for a girls staycation and it was a hit! Staying on it definitely takes some skill. Watching people flip tip and fall was the best! It help up through several pool adventures. It didn’t suffer an unfortunate accident after an adult male ran and lunched himself popping the side. His fault not the bananas. I will be replacing bc the fun was endless!

Why show adults in the pictures if this is child-size?
The amazon pics show kids, but the actual pictures on the box are full-grown adults that must top out at 4'10". It's a fun pool float that will probably last just as long as every other pool float around my kids. If nothing else, it's a good conversation piece that is slightly less likely to blow out of the pool due to the small pocket on the bottom that can be filled with water.

Would not stay upright
Even with water in the bottom, we could not get it to stay upright. We could hold on to it, but could not get on it.
