Okay, I had my doubts about this, but let me just say: SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET THIS PROTECTOR! I draw on my iPad constantly, and I’ve installed more screen protectors than I can even count over the years, and this is a GODSEND. It was super easy to install in the sense that I didn’t struggle with getting it lined up properly, and the kit it came with to aid in the process was nice. The instructions were clear and written in a way that you could understand if you’re inexperienced. It has protected my screen from scratches and sticky toddler fingers! It was easy to clean off and I appreciate how thick it is, it’s definitely thicker than any other paper feel protector I’ve tried. When it comes to bubble removal, a tip for it is to use the squeegee as you install it, gently pushing as you place it, and that really helps eliminate them. But, if you’re not experienced in doing that, and you end up with a few bubbles that don’t seem to leave with each push, you can lift it a bit (something you can’t/shouldn’t do with regular protectors because of the glue) and get them out again. The durability has been great so far, I use an Apple Pencil 1st gen and barely changed tips before using this screen protector, and it hasn’t damaged the tip too much, it’s a smooth surface, not too grainy, and it really does feel like paper. The stroke marks can be brushed off somewhat easily if you get too many, and it overall really feels like an excellent quality screen. I am so happy with this magnetic style, and I will never go back to a traditional version of the paper feel after being pampered with the magnetic.

This is one of the best paper-like screen covers. It is easy to put on and I love how it is intended to be removed when you are not using it. It also feels like real paper.

I bought this simply b/c I like a matte finish on my iPad, but, I don't like how the clarity is usually diminished. I usually just deal with it as a compromise. So, with the possibility of having a matte screen when I want it, and the bare screen when I don't...I thought it was worth a shot. It was. Overall, I like the way it feels when writing with it... with the knowledge I can easily remove it and save it for later, when I want the texture back. It went on the iPad really easily. I haven't taken it off, and reapplied it yet. So, I don't know if dust will become an issue. The negatives: A slight rainbow effect never goes away. It's not HORRIBLE, but noticeable. And... it is not very fingerprint resistant. It's not as bad as the screen, but worse than other protectors that I've used. All in All, satisfied because of the price, and that I can use it only when I want.

I was a bit nervous to buy it because there were some reviews saying the cover flattened the pen tip after using it so I was skeptical at first. BUT I'm actually very happy with it, have had no issues, my pen tip is still brand new after a few months, and it's very easy to install. It's not like the sticky phone covers, it's just magnetic and easily attaches to the iPad. I'm also left handed, so this has helped make my handwriting a little better compared to writing on glass. Give it a try! It's great!

I recently bought an iPad and already knew I wanted a paperfeel screen protector. At the same time, I wasn’t sure if I wanted one to be my everyday screen protector. I had ordered another ESR screen protector that was just a regular tempered glass adhesive one, and stumbled on this option that I hadn’t considered. The packaging itself is pretty interesting. The outer packaging was basically a fancy folder (didn’t experience any damage or shipping issues myself). The screen protector itself comes with a plastic reusable sleeve that will fit in just about any tablet bag with your iPad. The protective sleeve is a nice touch that eliminates some of the worry of damage when traveling. I was skeptical at first. This is my first iPad and the idea of a magnetic screen protector sounded like it would just slide around and be more of a problem than anything. Well… ESR wasn’t kidding around. This thing is so strong, I sometimes have to use a rigid piece of paper to get underneath & peel it back off (Which is awesome if you ask me!). It absolutely will not move out of place no matter how hard you try. The texture itself is great, not too course, but noticeably comparable to writing on paper(ish) material. It does resist finger prints fairly well, but will shows some. Wiping in circles with a clean wipe or rag does the job. I haven’t noticed any interference with use of a regular generic rubber tip stylus or an Apple Pencil 1st gen. There is some small refracting and the slightest barely noticeable detail loss of the screen when in use, but this tends to be the case with any of the paperfeel type screen protectors (magnetic or adhesive). This works just fine if you already have another adhesive screen protector already on your device. 10/10, and 100% recommend. Absolutely necessary for those who do a lot of note taking, hand writing, or digital art. And even more so if you still want to maintain using the regular screen or even with another (adhesive) screen protector (have not tried with another magnetic type, but assume it would work if there’s no magnetic polarity issues). Pretty sold on ESR after both of my screen protectors have been some of the best I’ve ever had to buy for a device, esp for the price point.

Great product that is easy to get on and off. Well worth the money to protect your screen from scratches.

Parfait. Facile à placer et effet papier avec l'apple pen. Par contre il "floute" un peu l'écran de la tablette, mais c'est le prix à payer pour un effet papier

The novelty of magnetic screen protection wears off soon when you find that this gets smudged fast and is difficult to clean. Not suitable for kids who will use fingers most of the time as they use the iPad. Good for those who will work with the Apple pencil all the time with their iPad. This wont protect the screen in a fall.

Se state pensando di prendere questa pellicola per studiare e non volete spendere molto/non volete rinunciare al finish lucido dello schermo dell'ipad questa fa al caso vostro. Si riattacca senza troppi problemi, non è troppo ruvida (anzi è "soffice" al tatto) e io la uso senza problemi con una punta di metallo. Non la consiglio ad artisti poiché sullo schermo si nota una sorta di grana, che potrebbe interferire con la visione ottimale di ciò che si sta disegnando (non me la sento di dire che alteri i colori però). Per studiare è sicuramente validissima
