Very sensitive to motion (but not too sensitive) and quick to jump on WiFi and notify the app. Usually 5-10 seconds. Nimh Batteries seem to last 6+ months. I rarely use alkaline batteries for anything. It warms me for about 2 weeks that the batteries need replacing. Great value and tons you can do with smart life app.

I'm sure they work good but it takes more than just these they're not self-sufficient so I need to buy more to keep them working at my rental I didn't even install them because I didn't have the right stuff so make sure you read the instructions and see what other products you need to keep these going or even to get them installed great idea no just not self-sufficient

Works very well. Very, very easy to install, connect, & control. Setting a Smart Scene of TUYA app to control both at one time seems to not work. Just know, if you have multiple sensors that you’ll need to arm & disarm separately.

This unit accurately detects motion with a 2 to 3 seconds max delay. It's very small so hard to nice it, works for a long time, it uses the battery very efficiently, I had to replace the battery literally after more than half a year.

Very slow to respond to motion. Quickly replaced it with a zigbee model that does not go through tuya.

Bought a set of 4 late January 2025. It is now late May and already two of the three I have been using are notifying me that the batteries are about gone. Worse yet, I thought these would be nice to use with Alexa routines for automatic control of lighting. Well, they are easy to implement into Alexa, but they just are not dependable or repeatable. For example: if motion is seen turn on light; if no motion is not seen within a 30 minute time then turn off the light. Well, usually the light will turn on okay but it may turn off in 5 minutes or may not turn off at all. Frustrating!

We get up in the middle of the night very often and could barely see anything without disturbing anyone. From our master bedroom to the kitchen is pretty far with no light switch in between. With this motion sensor we now have a viewing clear path to the kitchen. I placed it near our door and programmed it to turn on the kitchen lights as soon as we step out during dark hours. This sensor is very nicely designed and built. We are very happy with this purchase.

I used this to set up an automation where if movement is detected in the hallway, the lights come on low. The idea was that if we get up in the night, we can see through the house without fumbling for switches or turning the lights on high by mistake. Unfortunately, this sensor has no sensitivity control, and I got the fright of my life when in the night I recieved several notifications in a row that movement was detected in my home. I used another app to see a log, and saw that it had 'detected motion' every 15 seconds for about 20 minutes solid, in a dark, empty hallway. The irony is, when I was moving in the hall, there was a 15-20 second delay on sensing me - so I'd have been out of the hallway before the lights even came on anyway. The main perk is the design - if yours works as intended, it is probably the smallest, cleanest looking option. If I hadn't thrown out the box in haste, I would return immediately.

Ik heb deze sensoren retour gestuurd omdat ik na installatie, erachter kwam dat de reactietijden van deze sensoren boven de 5 seconden uit kwam, en dit is absoluut niet wenselijk als je even naar de WC of badkamer gaat en het licht moet aanspringen. Overigens heeft dat niets met de door mij aangelegde WiFi te maken, en alles met de langzame schakeling via de Tuya-cloud over de Wifi. Ik zou dit product nooit weer kopen zolang deze 'lag' blijft bestaan.

Fonctionne très bien et englobe toutes les fonctionnalités décrites. Très facile à mettre en œuvre. Je recommande vivement.

Evde çok iyi çalışıyor. Çok küçük bir alet. Gördüğü alanda en ufak bir harekette alarm çalışıyor. Tavsiye ederim.

This has been my favourite purchase in a long time. Was looking for something that would give me peace of mind because my elderly parent has dementia and I wanted to know when he was up and about in the mornings. This was so easy to set up with the WiFi and then connect to my phone via an app and now I have notifications set up so that I know when he is moving around. The sensor is great and picks up movement as you pass by it. Would also be great for security in the home when you are out. It doesn’t need a hub to connect to just need wifi which is a bonus. I highly recommend this sensor especially for carers who want to make sure the person they are looking after is safe.
