Chicken Nesting Box, 3 Compartments Chickens Egg Laying Nest Boxes for Hens Green

Great nesting box!!! Very sturdy, looks great and the quality is stellar!! Easy to assemble and install.

Assembly was very easy! Put aside the manual and go immediately to YouTube and watch the video, there's only one on this particular product I watched it once and put it together without even going back to review it again, a couple of small errors in the video he says you need a flat and screwdriver which you do not you need to fill ups, and I used my drill and a number to Philips to make the assembly super fast I think I put it together in 15 minutes! The only issue I have with this thing is I find it impossible to remove the trays once they're snapped in, I tried squeezing and pulling every conceivable thing you can imagine I cannot remove them I don't know how you supposed to clean them then if anyone knows please let me know otherwise the product is great, it contains three little plastic eggs which one you put inside h&s box they roll right into the covered box, so I plan on drilling a small hole and running a little fishing line through the egg completely so I can tie it more or less to the back end of it so the egg will kind of sit centered where they could see it without rolling into the box

Decent product for the cost. I bought this hoping to solve an egg breaking and thus egg thieving problem. My Buff Orphington Annie is rude and crowds my other boxes and ends up breaking eggs. I don't know for sure if she has become the resulting egg thief, but it ends soon. The assembly was easy enough, although there was some light confusion for the horizontal bars that hold the plastic trays. I can definitely see what some people meant with the instructions being mildly confusing, but all in all, still easy enough to assemble. Very sturdy little product. Even the plastic trays, which fought me a bit going together, but i also have absolutely no worry about them coming apart. The plastic trays are -SNUG- in their groves, so much so that i got little plastic curls shaved off sliding them in. If you are just sitting this item on a shelf or such, you'll need something akin to a 2x4 to provide the necessary forward slant for the eggs to roll. Mine is sitting on bricks and a 2x4, since my chicken run is a repurposed metal frame that i wrapped in chicken wire and hardware cloth and plastic, so theres nothing for me to hang it from. I zip tied the back of it to the wall so that it cannot fall forward. The girls already went through their attempts trying to get on the roof and couldn't. Wish i had that as a video. I wish this product was a little bit bigger, maybe an inch or so wider for each of the nesting boxes. I think a bigger option would assist chicken keepers who have bigger breeds like Brahmas. My Dark Brahma Belle seems to fit in the box alright for now, but she is almost a year old, and im told that they don't finish growing till 1-1/2 to 2yrs. Charlotte, my Easter Egger is my tiniest hen and and she has ample space. My two Golden Commets, Dina and Faun, fit very well too. Annie can't decide how she feels about it, but thats just how Attitude Annie 'Yolk-ley' is. Annie was picking at my hair while taking the video. Id be interested in buying another plastic tray or two separately to make a more appropriate sized room for my Brahma, if the seller was interested. Otherwise im going to need to get creative. All in all three nesting boxes solved so far with this product.

So far, so good! I’m really impressed with the sturdiness of these nesting boxes. Assembly was super easy, and all parts were included—nothing missing. I bought this during Prime Day at a great price and added nesting pads inside for extra comfort for my chickens. I have five hens that should begin laying soon, and the roll-away egg feature was the main reason I chose this model. While they haven’t laid yet, I tested it with a ball, and it rolls away perfectly, just as advertised. A pleasant surprise was the inclusion of fake eggs—I didn’t notice that in the description, so that was a nice bonus! The packaging was excellent, everything arrived on time, tightly packed, and without a single scratch on the metal. Very satisfied with this purchase so far!

This is a HANGING NEST BOX ONLY!!! Based on the photos, it appears that you are able to use this nest box standing on the ground, or that you are able to hang it on a wall. But it does NOT stand on the ground!!! It would be tilted forward with all of its weight on the bottom of the bottom 3 trays if you tried to use it standing on the ground. Nowhere do they make it clear in the listing that this nest box MUST be hung on the wall in order to use it!!! Now I have no way to use it, and no way to return it without disassembling it… and assembly took several hours and was really tricky thanks to a horrible and poorly written instruction manual. There is no detail in the manual at all, thankfully my husband and I are good at assembling things so we got it all out together properly in the end. However, it definitely is not intended to be used as a standing nest box, and it doesn’t come with a stand, so if you aren’t hanging it on a wall, do NOT BUY IT!!! I don’t think I can buy the stand separately, so this is a total waste of my time and money, now it’s junk that will be sitting in my shop with no way to use it, since I don’t have a way to mount it on the walls in my coop. What a total waste.
