3m Cat6 Ethernet for £3.28
What can I say it's a cat6 basic ethernet cable that's three meters long, It's black, it works,The reason why I ordered it for was simple,I have a Playstation 3 super slim and getting it working with a Virgin Media Hub5 on WiFi 2.4ghz was a problem because it wasn't being detected , Going into the hub5 ip settings on my phone meant I had to lower the security encryption settings on the 2.4ghz band and changing the automatically channels to be turned off, Then the PS3 picked up the wifi signal however even though I have Virgin Gig1, 2.4ghz on the ps3 is very 2007 with poor speeds couldn't get anything faster than 12mbs,I bought this 3 meter ethernet cat6 cable just for the ps3 super slim, By plugging it into a Virgin WiFi pod extender ethernet port I was able to bring that internet speeds up to 28mb download speeds,Why do all this?,Because Metal Gear Solid 4 is only on playstation 3,( Was able to download the game 27gb but that took 3 hours then took 1 hour and 19 minutes to install)For the actual ethernet cable,I paid £3.28 for a 3 meter ethernet it's great value,It does actually work on pc at cat6 speeds,Tested it on my pc directly to the Virgin hub 5 and got 1380mb down and 100mb up,Just don't expect miracles,You can't use this as an outside ethernet cable but what you expect for less than £4... it's not weather resistant or even water resistant,If you just need a patch for a NAS or to get a PS3 online to download a game from 2008 that will not come to PS5 anytime soon,You can't go wrong for £3.29,

Great
The Amazon Basics RJ45 CAT6 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Cable is a testament to the brand's commitment to delivering reliable products at an affordable price point. For those in need of a dependable wired connection, whether for gaming, streaming, or office work, this cable proves to be a worthy choice.Performance-wise, the CAT6 designation ensures that data transfer rates are up to par with modern standards. During my usage, connections were consistently stable, and the promised gigabit speeds were achieved without any hitches. The build quality is also noteworthy. The cable feels durable, and the connectors are well-fitted, ensuring a snug connection every time. The shielding on the cable is effective in reducing potential interference, which is crucial for maintaining a stable connection in environments with multiple electronic devices. This makes it suitable for both home and office setups. However, a minor area of improvement could be in the cable's flexibility. While the robust construction is appreciated for durability, it can be a tad stiff when trying to route the cable around tight corners or through cable management systems. In conclusion, the Amazon Basics RJ45 CAT6 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Cable offers solid performance and build quality, making it a great choice for most wired connectivity needs. While its rigidity might pose a slight challenge in specific setups, its overall reliability and performance make it a product deserving of a 4-star rating. If you're looking for a cost-effective solution to your Ethernet needs, this cable should be on your shortlist.

Amazon Basics Cat6 Ethernet Cable - Good Value, But Be Cautious⚡️🔌😐
If you're in need of a reliable Ethernet cable for your home or office network, the Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable could be a solid choice. 👍 At an affordable price point, this cable promises fast transfer speeds of up to 1Gbps, making it suitable for various applications like server connections, cloud computing, and HD video streaming. One of the notable strengths of this product is its universal compatibility. 🤝 With gold-plated RJ45 connectors and a 250 MHz bandwidth, it should seamlessly connect to a wide range of network components, from computers and printers to routers and switches. Additionally, the durable PVC outer jacket offers protection against wear and tear. However, it's essential to exercise caution when setting up this cable. 🚨 Some users have reported issues with the connectors not fitting snugly into certain network interfaces, leading to potential connectivity problems. It's crucial to ensure that the connector is fully inserted and securely locked in place for optimal performance.Another aspect to consider is the cable's longevity. While Amazon Basics products are generally known for their decent quality, some customers have experienced premature deterioration or signal degradation over time. 😕 It's advisable to closely monitor the cable's performance and replace it promptly if any issues arise.Overall, the Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable offers a decent value proposition for those seeking a budget-friendly option for their wired network setup. 💰 Just be prepared to double-check the connections and potentially replace the cable if it fails to deliver consistent performance over an extended period. Happy networking! 🌐

Very good length
It was used to replace a short lead as supplied with a controller. It work as expected and is reasonably flexible so allows much more freedom to move around with the controller.

Work and great value but careful with wall sockets
Ordered these as had ethernet wired in the house. They work as advertised, are very good value but with one potentially annoying issue for a lot of people. They plug in fine to a completely exposed ethernet port but for me the wallplates we have installed which have a little slider that moves up to plug the cable in the sheathing on these is very far down towards the end of the cable meaning it's very much a struggle to put them in and get the required 'click'. I have used some for other purposes and they are fine but may end up cutting away some of the sheathing.
