As a world traveler, quality and function are key. Super light weight and the right size that local and international airports require for a carry on that does the job. After 20 yrs of another samsonite I am more than happy with the change. From a train to a plane to a taxi there is no time for a problem and this luggage delivers for my wife and I so we have 2!

I bought this most excellent Samsonite suitcase so that I wouldn’t have to lug around a gigantic one. In this role it serves admirably. It’s lightweight, strong for its size, has nicely divided internal compartments and has a real easy locking system. It’s easy to wheel around too, as it has 4 wheels. It’s scratch resistant and if you use packing cubes you can make it work for a week on the road. I normally use one compartment for clothes, and the other for shoes, hygiene kit, belt buckles, and such. It allows me to segment clean from dirty, too. I’m a fan. You should buy one. You’ll be happy that you did. My only gripe is that it doesn’t have airplane wings, control surfaces and two engines, which is a real advantage when you’re dealing with the clown show that is the modern airport experience. It would be nice if Samsonite introduced this as a feature in the next version. This way you can just fly out of your house instead of dealing with the circus.

am really happy for what i paid for this luggage. i can pack 2 weeks worth of clothes & accessories and yet light enough for me to lift up towards the luggage compartment. i wouldn’t overpack it though as it would probably not close given this is a hard shell luggage; but the locking mechanism IMO is far superior to that of a zipper; it held up for the two weeks. it’s handle telescopes with relative ease and at the right height of adjustment. what could be better: while each side is covered, it would be better to have straps on each side so things wouldn’t roll/stumble as you wheel this luggage on the ground.

Giant waste of money. The worst suitcase I’ve ever used. Fails to latch 97% of the time.

My old had sided luggage was breaking (handle wouldn't reliably go up/down) - so needed something quick. Saw this one and figured worth a shot. Definitely impressed with the quality. Has been on ~10 flights so far, generally in the overhead bin (fits great) but has had to be checked a couple times and no damage at all. The latching mechanism also works great and is super easy to connect. My last one that wasn't the case.

I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but it exceeds my standards in just about every other category. It's sleek, rolls well, seemingly well made and I like the zippered dividers with the pockets. It took me a minute to adjust to the latch and locking mechanism but so far so good.

The latching mechanism is supposed to stay open, then when pushed shut it latches and holds the case shut. It functions pretty much the same as a car door latch. On my copy of the case, one of the 2 latching mechanisms won't stay open, so when I push it shut it only secures one of the two latches. I can work around this by manually opening the latch while pushing the case closed, but it is really not ideal to only have one latch holding the case shut. It could result in my luggage spilling all over the place. I will be returning this version and hope the new one works properly. Overall the luggage looks good, has a ton of space, is lightweight, is very secure when closed properly, has an easy to use latch and locking system. I hope I can get a copy of this that works properly.

I’ve been looking for a cabin luggage for sometime and the one that I initially liked is wayyy toooo expensive! Luckily, I found this and I love that it is zipperless and lightweight.

Without zipper but practical , good quality .. light weight .

War ein Geschenk, ich selber habe auch Samsonite seit Jahren, bin viel geflogen, da geht man nicht zimperlich mit den Koffern um, deshalb habe ich auch wieder einen verschenkt. Verarbeitung toll.

Aunque el sistema de cierre es innovador y muy cómodo, tras 5 usos Amazon me ha ofrecido la devolución de la maleta puesto había que forzar bastante la carcasa para que los dos pestillos cerrasen.
