So I actually work for a big name water softening company, but I rent my home so putting in a whole house water softener just wasn’t a feasible option for me.For reference, my homes water tests at 15gpg. My water is atrocious and has been ruining my skin and hair. My hair was feeling brittle and I seemed to be experiencing a much higher volume of shedding while showering. I also have patches of psoriasis that were flaring up pretty severely after being manageable for quite some time.Finally decided to just give this thing a try and I gotta say it has exceeded my expectations. After just ONE use I can literally FEEL the difference in my hair and skin. Psoriasis already calmed drastically. Hair is soft again. I’m not losing hair in the shower.The device itself could not be easier to install. I have just a standard shower head and was able to just take my shower head off, attach the device and put it back on. I’m guessing the people who have been struggling to get it attached must have specialty shower heads.It leaked just a tiny bit at first, but I simply tightened it some more and it stopped.Absolutely NO reduction in my shower pressure which is something I was concerned about. You wouldn’t even know it was on there.The water feels better, it smells better, my skin and hair feel better.And for $40??? This thing is 100% worth the money and I HIGHLY recommend it as an alternative to a whole house filter.

The Aquabliss shower filter is an excellent product. It does not diminish the water flow when installed. It is very easy to install. It screws on without any tools. I feel cleaner after rinsing with the filter than before. I like the fact that it filters out many contaminants that are present in tap water. The refill filters aren’t very expensive, so it is a good value for the price.

After reading customer reviews I decided to give this shower filter a try, and am not disappointed.The filter arrived with everything needed for installation. Both the written instructions and diagrams are super easy to follow, and installation takes less than 3 minutes.First impression upon use was how much stronger water pressure is!To have a fair assessment of performance, I did a routine shower. Here are my findings:Skin was not only softer but looked like it had been exfoliated. I don't have itchiness or dryness. Hair is very shiny with more body than I've had in a very long time.I've developed serious hair loss and eczema, and noticed that I had very little hair in the brush and zero tangles. The eczema is not burning as it usually does after a shower.Should my experience change with using this product I will update, but so far it's living up to the reviews!

I’m honestly conflicted because the initial unit is fantastic- so easy to install and makes a very noticeable difference in how great my hair looks and how good my skin feels, although it did only last about 4 months for me. However, I was happy to see that the replacement filters were less than half the price, but I could not, despite many many attempts by both me and my husband, get the unit apart. Had to just repurchase a whole new unit and couldn’t get that one apart either. May try a different filter next time.

I purchased this because it had a good rating and seemed to address challenges like eczema, hair issues, itchy skin, and environmental issues like brown water, hard water, chemicals and odor. My college-bound girls have several of these issues and concerns and their college chit-chat indicated they should get a filter for their dorm bathroom. Of course, I thought about letting them discover the real world and not be snowflake kids anymore but decided to get one because that's what I do. While they call daily and text by the minute to complain about something, showers, itching, hair issues, etc. have not been any of those complaints. Hallelujah! We have to work slowly with snowflakes so I'm quite happy that this wonderful filtration system has taken that off my plate. I think the price is reasonable if not just for one headache taken care of. The filter indicates it lasts approximately 6 months before needing to be replaced and the filters are not expensive. The device not impede the water flow or pressure in any manner. It was extremely easy to install without the need of anything but a wrench, which was only to remove the shower head. Everything else that was needed was inside the filter box. My husband (not a plumber though the other father in the room is a licensed plumber) was able to install it in about 6 minutes with no assistance. It is not the most aesthetically pleasing filter but then this is a dorm room bathroom and I doubt anyone cares or notices it. For my primary bathroom, well, I would prefer something a little more integrated and not so obvious.

I am happy I bought this filter. It was easy to install and it matches the chrome finish of my shower head perfectly. It is a good size and made of quality materials. The water comes out at a good pressure. I love how my skin feels and that I’m not bathing in that yucky water anymore.
