Size is not quite accurate, but bars are square and flat.
My use for these bars is to make a low fence expander for a bandsaw table. The bars are solid, fair finish on broad face, but a bit scratched on one bar. There are sharp edge burrs left from whatever tool was used to shear/cut the length. All that is required is for me to de-burr and a very slight polish to ensure flatness and squareness, and these are set for use. It is important to note, if size is critical these are the wrong item to purchase. Actual thickness is 0.243", width is only 2.947", and length is in the same range. Not a problem for my use, but if you need the full nominal size you need a different vendor or get a larger size and machine down to tolerance. RECOMMENDED for most, but not all buyers.

Item recieved wildly different from item detailed on site. Shipped 2 NOT 6 pieces. Significantly short changed from quantities outlined. Product length was also vastly overstated Be prepared for a subpar item that will not match your needs. I would highly recommend not purchasing from this Vendor Edit; Seems vendor has amended some of the site, still convoluted and more expensive. Buyer beware

Be aware the thickness is not !/4" as stated. It's 6 mm. (.014" undersize) Probably OK in most cases, however I had to march up with existing components of a dovetail fixture.
