Outstanding value
Well. This little machine is absolutely amazing.I've been using an old Clark 140 for years.Welding structural steel. Was alright, but not great. This thing. Wow.Handled 3.2 no problem.Laying 10mm slugs with ease.Welding bolt plates onto rsj.Abusing it for 3 hours straight, didn't cut out. Didn't give up.Really low spatter too.Excellent machine. Weighs nothing.Clamp and holder are decent too.Really happy with it

it was a one star but read on....
Out of the box DEAD! I put a return in but needed a welder that day as my mig welder had developed an issue. No lights on the new welder, so I checked the fuse. OK working. Next case off to check for anything obvious and yes, the positive lead from the switch was detached. I reconnected it, turned it on and it came to life. On use, it is very good, with anti-stick, etc the screen will tell you the right rod diameter for the amperage. The duty cycle seems good and has worked without fail for the past week. Colour me impressed lol!!

If it trips your circuit breaker
These welders draw alot of power it would continuously trip the breaker whatever I turned it on, had to remove the plug and wire it to my cooker switch to prevent this happening, it worked great after that thou id recommend getting two millimetre rods the ones that come with it are 1.6 you get a lot of flux and no metal
