I really like this belt. It fits well and can be worn with several outfits. If you want it to fit snug, you might want to size down. I ordered an XL. I'm 5'6", 197 lbs.

I love this belt! I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it has a button closure in the back, rather than a traditional belt buckle. Meaning there's no way to tighten the belt once it inevitably becomes loose due to wear and tear. Also, the material tends to fold up and then hold its shape, so I constantly have to readjust it and smooth it out. But now mine has a permanent crease. Just wish sturdier material had been used, but overall it's still a very nice looking belt. It's a good accessory if you're going for goth/witchy/cottage core vibes.

I ordered this belt for my wife to try on a Spanish style dress that has lost it's elasticity in the shirred waist. It's one of her favorite dresses, but she stopped wearing it after the elastic stretched out. I ordered her the belt in small, as she is a size 4. That belt size worked perfectly for her.The belt is very cute and she loved how easy it is to put on. There are three snaps in the back. It feels well made and like it will last a very long time. It's also quite stretchy and would be comfortable to wear all day. The decorative design of the belt also look nice with her dress. It's a better looking combo than my photo shows.

Really happy with this belt! Like everything Scarlet Darkness makes, it's good quality, durable, AND comfortable. Great for costume wear like the renfaire, but also great for everyday outfits. I especially like that it's stretchy and has a snap closure so you don't have to lace it up every time.

I’m not sure why this corset belt by Scarlet Darkness is being described as a “costume” belt, but it is fabulous both in functionality and quality. While it can enhance any period costume, it is right on trend for todays style. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and craftsmanship.One of the features I like best is that you don’t have to unlace it to put it on because of the attractive snap closure in the back, which does not distract from the design. It cinches the waist in perfectly and while the elastic is a great quality it still has a little give without adjusting the lace up feature. I love it and it’s such a great value that I plan on ordering another in the black.

This is such a cute little belt! It's super easy to put on with some nice, heavy duty snaps in the back. I will say the fake leather and elastic material does feel a bit cheap, but I don't mind. There's enough quality in the snaps and the lacing that it evens out.I also ended up sizing down against the advice of the size guide, and it still fit perfectly. This belt is massively elastic, so do size down if you're on the borderline or you're worried about fit.
