Let me be the first to say, the screws for these knobs are too long to fit on a flat slab 3/4" door. The screws have 1 3/16" of threads, and they only feed into these knobs 1/4", so if your doors are thinner than an inch, these screws are too long. Most plat panels are 3/4" so these don't fit. I have to either return the whole set or go buy new screws that are 1/8 to 1/4" shorter. Total bummer.The knobs themselves are nice, solid, a tiny bit smaller than expected, more like 15/16ths than a full inch as advertised, but they are what we wanted. They are not matte, or glossy, they are just the right shade of flat black. Just have to get the right screws for basic slab doors.Ok so after a trip to the local home improvement store, I learned that these are M-4 Metric, 30 mm screws, roughly 1.25 inches of threads. The store didn't carry anywhere near enough M4 25 mm screws that would have ~1 inch of threads (they're sold in 2 packs and they only had three bags, I needed 50), so I ordered new screws here on Amazon. Excellent quality. These are exactly what I wanted. They feel good in the hand. Agree with the above reviewer that you might need different screws, depending on your cabinet.
