This pillow is exactly what I've been looking for. I started out removing just one pillow and then removing a second pillow. I have not had a headache or stiff since using. It's only been one week but the change is so noticeable that I have no doubt my pillow has been the issue for years. I had ordered an ergonomically correct pillow earlier that was made of memory foam. It was much too hard and didn't work. This pillow is so comfortable and soft. It did not have any odors as some do when they arrive. I would imagine that once the pillow gets used over time, I will need to add back a pillow or two. The price was definitely worth it!

I sleep on my stomach and side and finding a pillow has become a quest. I found the right pillow! It keeps cool, and is a tad soft, but better than a stiff foam/bamboo/gel pillow that you can set a brick on. The key to this is that you can remove as many of the smaller pillows inside to create the perfect pillow height. I took one out, then two and viola! the perfect pillow. Very well made and the fabric is super smooth, not rough. Haven't washed it yet, but it comes with instructions.

This is a pretty straightforward design that allows you to customize the total loft of the pillow. I purchased this because I prefer a flat pillow but NOT memory foam, which tend to be what most "flat" pillows are made of. This pillow uses a more traditional fill and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fill they do use is a little bit bouncier than I would prefer but it's still very comfortable, cool, and much better than anything else I've tried.

Honestly was surprised how much I liked this pillow. I had been having neck problems, but didn't want to spend a fortune on some fancy pillow.The ability to adjust the pillow's density is a unique feature that I loved. You can easily remove or add one of the inner pieces to cuatomize the pillow. Another plus, I removed a couple of the layers and added them to another pillow I had that was old and pretty flat. I've been using this for about a month and have noticed reduced neck pains.Would definitely recommend.

At first, I absolutely loved this pillow. I'm a side sleeper and normal pillows give me a sore neck so I've been struggling to find a thin pillow that's not too hard. I like this pillow with two layers in it. The pillow cover and layers are good quality and feels it like a real down pillow. I am now updating my review to reduce rating to 3 stars because it got lumpy after some months of use.

I found that the filling (gel fiber something or other) bunches up, squashes flat, allows the pillow to wrap around your head to smother you. It that sounds good this pillow is for you. One pillow layer is like a bath towel folded over a couple times. Three layers reminds me of a selection of laundry I used as a pillow in a bad motel where the pillows were like lumber. Five is life threatening without a snorkel.

I've searched for the perfect pillow for years and this is it! I've had this one for about 6 months and I love it. I have only 2 of the inserts in mine and it's perfect because I like a flatter pillow. But, even though its relatively flat, its very soft and comfortable. The material inside it is not too stiff or too soft. Can't say enough about this pillow. AND, I took it apart and washed it in my regular machine and it didn't throw my washer out of balance. It dries in the dryer just fine also, just moosh it back into shape when its dry.

I ordered this so I could use sections to make my favorite foam pillow a little higher as I'm a side-sleeper. It does just that, but I find myself turning the pillow over so the Restorology pillow stack side is towards my head, as it is soft and comfy, yet supportive in just the right way. I did sleep on just the pillow stack 5 layers for several nights when it first arrived, and was surprised at how much I like it. I haven't had much luck with a lot of pillows, and my expectations were low when I purchased this one, but was pleasantly surprised!
