Metal is thin and not heavy duty. Pretty bright light.

I now have two of these little guys. They are such a little powerful little light, and they were built with flexibility in mind. The base is stable, but the legs also allow the light to be hung when necessary. Plus the swivel head allows for an extra level of customization. Spaces needing light are always different, and this light flexes to be useful in just those needed ways. The batteries in this little guy respond exactly as described in the manual, and I have plenty of cables and charging bricks to charge this light almost everywhere I have used it. I have used the Rover Mobile Task Light detailing the car (in the garage where overhead lights can't help me), installing shelves in a basement storage room (again where the single overhead bulb is inadequate), lighting up the pool at night when the kids are swimming (on the ladder platform worked perfect). I could go on, but I think you get the idea, this is a task light that performs above expectations. This is a "tool", and tools are meant to be used; cracks, dings, and scratches are expected, but it still has to work as designed....this light does just that. It may not look new anymore, but it does the job it was designed for. The only thing that could be better would be Bluetooth speakers, but now I'm just getting greedy! You will enjoy this light when you get it.

I originally backed one of these lights on Kickstarter a few years ago, and thought it was great- the light was bright and lasted a long time. It was also easy to recharge, and held the charge over long periods of not being used, making it a perfect light in case of emergency. When the original light stopped working, I immediately came to Amazon to buy a replacement (in fact, I bought two).All I can say is- quality control sure has slipped. As soon as I got the lights, I charged them and got them ready. I used one for about 10 minutes, and had no issues. The other I used in the basement for about an hour while I was doing some chores, and again, no problems.The other day I checked the lights again- neither one turned on. I charged them both up- one refused to turn on and the other flashed on really quickly and then turned off. I don't know what to say- these lights have gone from being useful and well made to horrible pieces of cr*p. I am returning them for a refund, and will never bother with this company again.

This is a really nice item, the light is so bright. It’s very light weight and you can fold it along one axis. My only criticism is you cannot swivel it to the sides, but I guess you could just aim it manually since it so small. Overall still give it 5 stars, feels well made and it does the job great at this price.

I like how well the light is built. It is very bright. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the battery doesnt last long for the price paid .There are other lights on the market for much cheaper and work longer and as bright .

This product will only last lesser than 5 hours when running on lowest light setting

Bought it as a gift for someone and after I charged it my husband stole it and told me to order another one for gifting purpose.. LOL

We bought this for a remodel project and now don’t know how we lived without it. Adding extra light while painting, cleaning the garage, working on the car. It has become my new favorite item at home!
