I agree with all the other positive reviews: comfortable on the face and breathable. But, then there was no place for me to position the thick elastic band comfortably. I don't like things over my ears as this makes them hurt and when I wear them just on the top of my ears the elastic edge digs into them. This woke me up in the middle of the night with sore ears. Perhaps a more soft covering over the elastic could be helpful.

This definitely over my eyes just fine but the reason for the 3 out of 5 stars is due to the strap digging into my upper ear during sleep with these. A simple readjustment of the straps fixes the digging feeling but the straps should be made out of something a bit less rough especially around the areas by the ears. Another reason to drop another star is connecting the straps with a velcro connection leads to problems with the pillows your head should rest against. This leads to the velcro pulling on it or even scratches your partner if they nuzzle up to you or you move your head towards them. The part that goes around the nose and the eyes is definitely a functional piece for the mask and is very comfortable. Just get the strapped made into a less rough product like nylon and another way to tighten the mask over your head instead of a velcro strap.

Great sleeping mask. I would recommend for anyone. It will block out 90% of ALL light with no problem. Soft flexible material that almost looks and feels like a really small soft bra minus the underwire. lol Yes, It's a very strange way to describe it but so perfect as you'll see once you receive it. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the adjustable strap bothers me 5% of the time. Description claims your are able to open your eyes and that is misleading. You can most definitely open your eyes but you lashes will touch which doesn't bother me I just thought I would clarify.

For me, this mask is not suited for every night use. Looks sturdy in the picture, but it's not. It doesn't seal out light around the nose, and worse, the head band doesn't prevent it from moving all around, because the whole mask istoo lightweight to stay put. I threw it in the suitcase for a spare travel mask. After much searching around on Amazon I finally found one close to the old one that needs replacing. More expensive, but well worth it. I must learn to avoid the lower priced come on items, no matter the star rating, because they generally don't work out, don't get returned, because it's not worth the trouble, and totaled up become a lot more expensive then better made more costly items.

I am one of those people who have a problem sleeping in a room without it being pitch black. Even when I am sleeping in a room with heavy curtains and blackout shades there always seems to be laser beams of light sneaking inI have tried several masks in the past and they were uncomfortable to wear and/or did a poor job of blocking the light. But this mask is lightweight, soft, stays cool, and is overall comfortable to wear. On my face there is an insignificant amount of light able to peek. This happens in a much brighter room than I can normally sleep in, and I only notice it if I open my eyes looking for stray light. When I close my eyes I don’t see anything that I find disturbing, and I can actually sleep in a much brighter room that I ever could before. If I wear this mask out I will buy another one.

SAVE YOURSELF THE $15...AND BUY A MASK FROM THE DOLLAR STORE...IT WILL KEEP OUT MORE LIGHT THAN THIS MASK!! IT IS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!! This mask allows light in from around the nose and the whole lower edge of mask. My mask from the dollar store works better than this!! This mask is a complete waste of money, and I wish I would have read the 1 star reviews first. The nose part is also annoying because of the way it lays on your face...I felt like I was suffocating. Between the light coming in, the suffocating feeling and the mask slipping around I had a restless night. I will be returning for a full refund.

While the mask is light-weight and comfortable, it doesn't seal around the nose (at least not my nose) So if you're looking for total black-out, this does not provide that. But if you're just looking to block out bright moonlight it will do the job. Just not full day light if you work nights and need to sleep though the day.

I own three different sleep masks. So far this one is my favorite. It’s the best made, leaves room for eye movement and my eye lashes don’t touch when I have it on. It’s tight enough, but very comfortable. I’d buy another if this one ever broke down. I recently took this on a trip, and it made sleeping on the plane, adjusting to new time zones and sleeping in so much easier. I used to cover my head with a blanket :)

This mask is even worse than the ones you get for free on a cheep airlines. The nose cup is tiny, which then lets light in under the mask. The head strap is fastened by Velcro which scratches your head (im bald) or gets caught up in your hair (if you have any). Would not recommend this item to my worst enemy. I would return it but my wife through away the packaging!

This mask is lightweight and easy to adjust. It doesn't totally block out the light, especially around the nose piece, but it works well for me.

Does the job and is very soft so it doesn't press on the eye.

Kept slipping off overnight and the velcro strap is very uncomfortable

Arrived pronto! Excellent quality and so comfortable. If getting a few extra hours sleep on a morning is important to you, then this is ideal.
