I'm not sure why the other reviewer who, "works in the industry", said that these are just regular paper notebooks but, they are wrong. These are several times more durable and resistant to water and tears. I was skeptical but I'm pretty impressed. Maybe the other reviewer received the wrong product or something, I don't know, but I'm an avid backpacker and have purchased many "waterproof" notebooks. There's only been one better and a single notebook was more than this pack of 8 costs. If you're looking for a tough, inexpensive notebook, you won't be disappointed with these.

Bought these for work. Making quick notes and reminders. Liked it and started using it more and more. quick, convenient and easy. Plus, these a rugged and do not tear or ruin in my pocket even if I'm outside in 107 degree weather.

I really enjoy writing notes in this notebook. The paper is smooth but doesn't smudge no matter what pen i use. It's the perfect size to fit in a blazer pocket and the inside cover lets you record the details (date, purpose, etc). I use it as a diary to record details when I travel, such as where pictures were taken, people I've met, contact information, thoughts and impressions. I bought a leather cover for it from another company so I always have a pen ready to jot notes.

The first time I bought this note books was a joke for my husband. He would often leave his list/notes for things to do in his jeans, therefore would go in the washing machine. So one day, he did forgot this new note book in a pocket. Yes it made it in the laundry by accident. We were both impressed, what he had on the page was still there and the little book was still in good condition.I bought it again, those note books are great, survives being washed and in a back pocket, still standing in one piece.

If Thor carried a notepad this is what he would carry. Tear proof, smear proof, dirt, mud, and coal proof.

I purchased this is October of 2022, it's now July 2023. I work in engine rooms, typically around 120 to 135 degree hear. Sweat alot, I usually carry the book in My back pocket or pants leg pocket. It really is indestructible, I've also used it in a light rain outside. The pages are not torn or worn down. I am definitely buying more of these.

I purchased these to be placed into geocaches which I intend to stash (i.e., cache) in some Pelican cases manufactured for just such shenanigans. The cases and field books will then be trucked to some seriously out of the way places and hidden. And I know out of the way places . . . in spades. So, whoever finds the cache can log their name and other details into this book and crow to their friends about the crazy mutha that placed the cache in East Dipstick. I may not see these books for a good long while and can only hope that the cases are rugged enough to keep the packrats at bay. It'll be fun for all concerned.

These are perfect. If you have a need for a small durable notebook, then look no further!
