The girls love it!
We bought this for our girls, a Ridgeback and a Weim, and they LOVE it! They sail through the air and chase the wand, it really helps to train them on speed and agility. I like how the pole is extendable and the line is stretchy, they know to let go and not pull it too hard or else it will pop us in the face. They wear themselves out and get plenty of exercise with it.

Dangerous ... do not purchase
I would give this ZERO stars if I could. The 2nd time I used it with my puppy, a plastic ring broke sending the last arm of the retractable metal part caterpulting into his mouth. It’s on a bungee cord so it hit him with force. My puppy is a doodle and was only 12 weeks old. Never purchase this because if it breaks, there is no way to stop the bungee action to prevent injury to your puppy.

Go "dog fishing"!
My puppy loves this!! I go "fishing for dogs" with him and it's great exercise (for him). Especially great on a rainy day when he has to release energy.I'm adding an update. I've read other's comments about the pole breaking, and mine lost a piece today after over 7 months. If you want to play tug of war with a large dog, be careful extending it all the way. I still recommend this product, and is a good toy for the price.

It's good for the price
My dog loves the flirt pole. It's good for the price, but sometimes the collapsible sections don't lock as well and move while playing.

Not As Cool As The Video Suggests . . .
It came today and immediately took it outside to play with dog. I definitely think the wand needs to be a bit longer for the length of the tether, or the tether shorter, as my dog was only interested in trying to grab the wand and tether, as opposed to the lure on the end. It does give him a great workout, if I can just get his focus on the lure. The sections do not stay locked, so I ordered the one-piece Tail Teaser wand.

Very entertaining for the dog, tires him out after 10 min
This was recommended by my vet. My puppy loves it, and gets him tired. The good thing is I don't have to do much, but move the pole around. The bad part is that the puppy keeps going for the cord. I sprayed it with bitter apple and it helps a little. It's a very good dog toy.

Fun but NOT Durable to Tugging
This is a very fun toy to enetertain a one-year-boxer. It wears her out greatly. The locking mechanism does not work too well, and it's hard to tell when it's locked or unlocked (twisting motion to lock it is about 0.5mm turn). While playing one day, I was letting our dog tug on the toy and the rod bent. It's not super durable and does not do a good job of bearing any kind of load.

Great exercise for any pet!
Great exercise for dogs. My big boys love this! Just dont let them jump high as it could hurt them now, or it will affect their joints in the long run.
