Most people are not too demanding of their water jugs unless they have special athletic needs.If you're just a regular joe like me who doesn't spend their entire day on a treadmill or on the trail (and i don't mean that in a bad way), then this jug will suit you just fine.The handle is large and the build of the jug is very sturdy.Now, I'm not a water jug connoisseur so take this with a grain of salt, but I really like the cap design as well. The cap seals the opening tightly and it has a locking mechanism for when you're on the go. The only problem I had with the cap, which I'm going to chalk up to just a defective jug in the batch, was that on day 7 I opened the cap with the release button it has and the whole thing flew off. Turns out the hinge on the cap has a spring that must have come lose and couldn't hold the cap in place anymore. The spring must have been tiny because I couldn't find the darn thing to try to fix it myself.Worst part is that I was in my car and since the jug is too large to fit on the cup holder and it wasn't going to stay upright on its own, so I had to chug all 2 liters on my drive to work.Best part is that Amazon customer service came through and sent me a replacement jug with no questions asked.How funny; this is the longest review I've ever written and it's about a water jug.BOTTOM LINE:If you're someone looking to have an easy way to drink 2 liters of water a day using a jug that does the job, this jug is a fine choice. If the cap for the replacement jug doesn't break as well, I'll consider bumping it to 5 stars.

I've gone through so many...so freaking many water bottles...First of all I'm an avid cyclist, gym goer, runner, and swimmer. Needless to say, I drink a lot of water. I've tried so many water bottles that either don't give me a good flow, or I have to untwist the cap to let air in so I can gulp properly...or are too tiny or ungainly to carry... No matter the reason, I seem to find something about each water bottle that I've had, to make me hate it. For example, I usually love Contigo products. But the contigo water bottle I had, had a very annoying way of spritzing water on me whenever I opened the autoseal lever. And eventually it began leaking.Anyway, the Bluewave jug is seriously my favorite bottle to date. It's a great size, though I go through about 3-4 refills per day still. But I wouldn't trade it for anything else. What I LOVE, is that there is a tiny air hole on the cap, so when you're drinking it, you can get a constant flow of water, you don't have to remove your mouth, to let air back inside. This sounds like a tiny matter, but it's not, that's a HUGE bonus. The cap on top has a clear lock WITH a metal locking clip... CHA CHING! double protection from spills... I'm actually thinking of ordering another so I can swap back and forth I love it...

I don't know why people would give it any less than 5 stars its perfect. nice ergonomics, no leaks, and the cap cover helps to stop any germs from getting inside. I love this bottle, I had the Envirobottle before this one that had a screw on cap but that was always messy and got dirty pretty quickly. I dropped it and it cracked so id figure I try this one. I have no complaints at all.

I was so excited for this! The price seemed steep, but there was a used-new one for $5, so I went for it. I didn't even get to use it before my 13 year old decided it was his. Fiiiiine.He loves it! Drank a whole bottle within 4 hours. It seems durable, easy to hold. I love the lid. Very cool.Cons: only came with one lid, but I assume that's why I got it so cheap.I had a lapse of intelligence and set it sideways in a plastic tote, on top of some books. After hours of sitting that way, the books were pretty wet. From what I can tell, it's a very slow leak,though. Won't really affect us in the future, but important to be aware.Would I get it again? Not at the regular price. Why are water bottles so expensive nowadays?! For $5, I'd do it.

I love this water bottle!! I bought the purple one just because it was the cheapest lol but I actually really love this bottle. I’ve purchased many in the past but I feel like once I finish a 16oz one I stop there. Drinking from this bottle I know I’m getting the daily 8 glasses of water I need every day. I feel so much more energy even though I have to pee a lot more (tmi sorry). It’s very easy to clean it does come with instructions. I was completely surprised at the extra cap provided if you don’t want to use the straw. I had to double check the listing to see if it was a mistake because I was so surprised. I really appreciate that extra option. All in all great product and works very well with daily use.

This product does everything it says in the description. Doesn’t leak, it’s sturdy, it had all the features I was looking for in a water bottle. There are two major problems with this jug. The first is the button to release the cap. The mechanism is poorly designed making it difficult to open. I usually have to press some magical spot on the lower right quadrant of the less-than-a-centimeter big button and then pry my thumb nail under the plastic to pop the lid up. Two hands to open is not convenient. Then once it is open, I can expect to lose about 5 oz of liquid as it gushes out of the bottle and directly into my lap/seat/phone/neighbor etc. I’m guessing what happens is the fluid gets pressurized in the straw and when the lid is released, thar she blows. I’m really disappointed with this purchase. I researched for weeks to find the best bottle for my needs and I thought this product would work. It has instead proved to be a massive inconvenience and a waste of money.

I decided to order this water bottle to improve my water drinking habits. I tried everything, but on some points, I always have forgotten about drinking. The major thing to keep counting every single day, how many times you were filling up your glass? It never happened to me to remember in the end of the shift... This bottle is a great size container, you need to fill it up just once and take it with you to your desk. No counting from now on, I know I need to empty out the bottle till the end of the shift, so simple.The bottle is light weight just like a feather, but really sturdy plastic. It feels and looks like really nice quality.I have not even realized it’s coming with two different caps, but it turned up really handy. One of the caps is the pop up one if you fancy to drink from the bottle or it has a loop cap to carry it easily and just pour the water into the glass.The nicest finish is the handle, I started to use these drinking jars at home and now my water bottle is like a jar (feels like home).It was the best decision I made to order it, I think I’ll have some questions where to buy it from my co-workers ☺

I ordered this bottle for my teenager who never remembers to drink properly. As a busy mum I also haven’t time to monitor what she’s drinking, and obviously, can’t when she’s at school. This bottle really appealed to me because it holds the recommended daily intake, and that way I can check up on her progress. She chose purple, and have to say the bottle has a look that fits children and adults alike. There is no gimmick about it; it just does what it needs to do.Although the product is from the USA, it arrived in super quick time. I had seen some reviews of cheaper knock off bottles made in China, and it wasn’t looking good for them. I didn’t see the point of trying to save a few quid when it only costs £9.49 anyway. I wanted something that would last not break really quick so went for the original Californian designed and produced bottle. It needs to survive in a school bag!One of the other reasons I chose this one was the fact it comes with two different lids. There's a sports cap lid for easy drinking and a traditional flat for transport. However, what really impressed me was the sports lid has a safety catch meaning it cannot be knocked open accidentally - another bonus for school kids or indeed gym goes.Being health conscious I was also looking for a good grade of plastic, you hear loads of horror stories about plastic leaching chemicals into the water, etc., and that’s not something I want to risk with my kid's health. I checked with the manufacturers and discovered that this bottle uses highest quality virgin plastic (Tritan) which is certified BPA free. The cheaper copies tended to use recycled plastic which sounds eco-friendly but unfortunately isn’t as safe for health.When filled the bottle is obviously quite heavy, but that is a good reason to get drinking early in the day and keep going until it is empty! It has a funky water cooler style handle which makes it easy to lift and carry. The sports cap is easy to drink from without causing any spills. There doesn't seem to any leakage issues which is great, the caps both fit securely. I feel better knowing that I can send her off with a day’s recommended water allowance and be able to monitor it when she gets home. Kids also seem to find refiling a smaller bottle an arduous task, so this is perfect for that lazy teen demeanor!

I ordered this Bluewave Daily Water bottle as I was growing ever more fed up with how hopeless I am at remembering to drink the daily recommended amount of water, despite feeling the many positive benefits of it when I do! This Bluewave Daily water bottle caught my eye as it not only holds enough water for me during the daytime (2 litres), it also looks neat and also easy to carry with its inbuilt handle. I have tiny hands and I am not the strongest so I was after something that I could carry around with ease, and not risk losing my grip and soaking myself with a huge bottle!Low and behold when this water bottle arrived swiftly the next day, I came across exactly what I have been looking for. Firstly, it was packaged so much better than I imagined. It had a perfect little box and arrived swiftly the next day with amazon prime! The box is filled full of information about how to clean the bottle and important safety information. The bottle is very sturdily made yet not too bulky and heavy that it will weigh down my hand bag! I chose to go with purple as it is my favourite colour, the quality impressed me when it arrived it is very vivid and vibrant shade of purple, this has got to be my favourite bottle I’ve owned.While it come with a useful sports cap to allow for easy drinking this water bottle amazed me with the size of it’s opening, allowing me to clean it with great ease. I also have managed to add slices of lemon to my water without having to squeeze it through a tiny hole, getting these out was also made a lot easier by the humungous opening. I love how perfect the sports cap is, it includes safety lock to stop it coming open and little rubber valves that prevent even the tiniest of leaks! It even features an air vent which allows for the most fluid flow of water, which allows tremendous ease when attempting to keep hydrated.This bottle came with a regular lid also so I could close it off and store it in the fridge, or take on a picnic and pour into cups to share with my children.This water bottle prompted me to purchase when I explored its description and it described the nature of its materials. These bottles are free of any chemicals which is something I am extremely conscious of avoiding. The material is strong and durable, and with its money back guarantee it claims it will not heat up or melt under warm heats such as sunlight. I have had this happen with cheaper bottles from local discount stores and I trust this will be true of this water bottle, the materials are much higher quality, I guess the saying goes you get what you payed for. Well I am extremely glad I paid for this high quality water bottle as I know it will be well used and I already plan on purchasing another for my partner, and the slightly smaller size for my children to take to school! When I bought this it said that it was 2L, which it isn't. Not a huge issue anyway. Easy to carry around, nice colours, sturdy bottle, good straw-ish type thing. Only slightly annoying thing is that the air-hole which allows you to keep drinking for a while is quite big, you need to put a finger lightly over it or it'll drip.

I was really pleased with this bottle at first - holding a great amount of water and the option of the 2 types of water dispensing was really good. However the bottle dispenser with the straw to suck out of broke after about a month of use. Now the little bit of plastic designed to keep the clear plastic lid on the bottle doesn't work, the lid just pops straight back up again. As a result of this the bottle leaks whenever I try to transport it in a bag anywhere. Giving 3 stars as this may be my fault but it is disappointing as I can't carry the bottle anywhere now and just keep it by my bed.
