Just got to test this in the car and oh my, it is the best invention ever. I enjoy tea, a lot! So having this available especially with the many road trips me and my family do is a life changer. It is very quick and getting the water boiled, and easy to carry around. It can make a couple of cups of tea which is more than enough at once. Honestly for the price, this is something very worth having and I can not believe I did not get it a lot earlier. Definitely a must have!

My husband really likes to keep his coffee piping hot at ALL times. He also likes to savor it for many hours, which until now, seemed to be preferences that were in diametric opposition to one another. This meant transferring coffee into a microwaveable mug to reheat, repeatedly. For me, this meant listening to the microwave run and then beep, notifying him to “come and get it” all morning.Over the years we have had so many conversations about the idea that we could put a man on the moon, but his coffee loses boiling status far too quickly. To make matters more complex for him, we live at ~6k feet elevation (not altitude) and the rate of evaporation is working speedily against his efforts, 24-7.I am pleased to report that this little gadget works! He is able to dial in exactly what temp he prefers (I think he said 180 F?) and in his vehicle, this perfection is easily achievable. When in the house, he uses a vehicle car plug to electric outlet adapter (found here: https://a.co/d/4uFvvZd) to keep said coffee hot. It has to be the correct wattage (amperage?)…something… to work. So make sure you check the specs of the adapter and this little car kettle.Caution, open that top carefully! My husband just keeps the lid open while he’s maintaining temp. It will only get up to 202 F while the lid is open, but it won’t spray you this way.Happy trails and careful you don’t burn your lips!

I can’t say that I love this item but I like it a lot. It takes a hot second to boil liquids and that’s more of a personal gripe because my vehicle doesn’t have many outlets so I don’t have all the patience in the world to give this cup the time it needs to heat liquids which takes about 15 mins or more but that’s a long time when I need to charge my phone. It’s super handy when I’m on the road and want to drink one of my million teas. It’s aesthetically pleasing and it fits in my cup holder. Also it’s slim so it doesn’t hold a ton of water/ liquid… which I’m sure the description mentions the allowable ounces but experience is different, as I was filling this thing up I thought “well that’s not a lot” but to be fair it’s a good amount. Overall great purchase for my needs

I've taken this on a couple of roadtrips and it works like a charm. I mostly use it to warm water for a cup of coffee on the road. I've tried the boil setting and its SUPER hot, so be careful, and I've used it on ramen noodles. I’ve had to start using the warm setting at the high temperature for my coffee, and not boil. Very happy with my purchase.
