I've been searching for this for YEARS! It works so well.
After years of wanting the expensive Nintendo Game Cube Component cable, I was searching around on the internet trying once again to find a Game Cube cable for a reasonable price, I had recently acquired an HD Tube TV with a component setup. This brought up that need again. After some extensive research I found companies were finally making third party cables, which lead me down a path of who had the best it brought me over to BITFUNX. I located their cable online, the price is very reasonable. Upon arrival I was able to easily connect the NGC to my TV with the component cable. I turned on PIKMIN 2 and it sounded better than I had ever seen, the picture quality was better than I had ever seen. The Game Cube was my favorite system to play in the 2002 to 2004 before I switched to PC games so this took me back. I've been able to introduce a lot of my favorite games to my kids! A wonderful full operation device to get me to an incredible quality I never experienced.

Works Excellent with Sony Bravia TV
Works excellent with my 2011 Sony Bravia. Screen is crisper than my HDMI adapter. Sound needs adjustment using a Sony soundbar. Using vocal settings fixes the issue. Very good choice over HDMI adapters.

Bitfunx Component cables
Great cable. Exactly what you’ll need to upgrade your GameCube to the next level. Fits perfectly and is very easy to set up. The way this cable pretty much doubles your video resolution is huge. If you’re a GBA player user the difference is noticeable immediately, colors and image are sharper and picture is just much cleaner on my CRT. Definitely recommended.

A Good Cheaper Component Alternative with Some Slight Drawbacks.
These are a pretty good cheap alternative to getting component output from your GameCube. The difference in visual clarity is a noticeable upgrade from composite and S-Video. They seem to have fixed the wiring of the left and right audio cables, and they aren't flipped. I haven't yet noticed really any issues with the quality of the audio with this cable. Some games will have a noticeable purple shift on to them on the edge of things, which is more of a fault of GCVideo Lite rather than the cable itself and can be hard to notice depending on the current scene. I've had a wonderful experience using these on my Toshiba CRT at 480i. I am pleasantly happy with how these work for the price I paid for them.

Good value but flawed implementation
Saying these have a flawed implementation of GCVideo Lite might not be fair - they implemented it correctly but GCVideo itself is flawed (particularly the audio) and the instructions don't provide any advice for working around it. The GCVideo Lite spec has the audio channels flipped. The easy fix for this (and the encoding bug that caps output at 24khz) is to use your existing composite\s-video cables for audio. Sure, you could flip the white and red RCA's but that wouldn't fix the encoding bug that causes pretty bad sound output at high frequencies. This important, basic advice is missing from the instructions and really should have been included. There is no benefit to getting audio from the Gamecube Digital Output port unless you are outputting to HDMI. I suspect the reason they don't recommend using the analog AV port for audio is because they made the connector so large, it interferes with the OEM AV cable - so you have to use an aftermarket cable which all seem to have smaller boots. Buy a cheap aftermarket composite or s-video cable and strip back the video wire to the connector and clip to prevent crosstalk, leaving you a white and red RCA for left and right audio. If the cable isn't crap it should be wired for the correct channels (not flipped, not combined into mono, etc.) You can test in 240p suite or any game you can control SFX on left and right channel. Other than the audio mess and the fact the connector is so large you can't use your OEM cable for audio, they were rightfully concerned about it fatiguing the Gamecube digital output port, and included a laughably flawed support clip that clicks into the rear vents to help with the bulk and weight of the cable. It makes you wonder how they could be considered qualified to make a complex cable when they cant 3D print or mold a piece of plastic. The problem is the clips are upside down and it sits too low. I cut a piece of plastic about 2mm thick, wedged into the gap between the clip and the Gamecube vent lip to push the clip upward to support the bottom of the cable connector jacket. Aside from all that, the cable works. The output is identical to the Prism which costs more and is basically the same quality cable with all the same GCVideo Lite flaws. Compared to the original Gamecube component cable, which I still have after all these years, there are pros and cons. The Gamecube cable produces a slightly brighter picture, but the GCVideo Lite cables seem to have better color saturation. The sharpness and whatnot are identical on my Toshiba CRT. Literally cannot tell a difference. I haven't gotten my hands on a Carby cable or any other component options so my reference point is Bitfunx, Prism, and OEM Component, and surprisingly, the OEM Component does not win in every metric. It's a better cable, and rightly designed WITHOUT analog audio output (Nintendo says to do what I recommend above: use your analog AV cables audio RCA's + the digital AV cable for video) but it's not worth the money compared to GCVideo Lite cables. Like myself, as long as you don't use the audio output from a GCVideo Lite cable, you won't be able to see a difference in overall output quality. 3 stars, just because they really phoned it in with the instructions and the clip.

Great picture quality improvement
Quality was far better than what I was expecting. Good value for people who want better picture quality without forking over the money for oem component cables or hdmi adapters.

I didn't know 480p could look so good....
If you have a TV that supports Progressive Scan 480p like I do (Sylvania 20" EDTV LCD) This is a NO BRAINER. I tried composite *puke* then S-Video *noticeably better* then this....OMG, it's gorgeous. Just hold on to your original cables to use the audio from the analog port because some games like PN03 have weird audio misses on this one, but I still call it a 5/5 compared to what the OEM component cables cost and even other 3rd party cables. Would 100% buy again

Works great on my Gamecube. Picture quality is crisp and clean. Tried an S-video cable which is worse than the rca cable that came with the console. cut the chase and buy these.

The image quality isnt much better than the Analog output, if at all. Using an upscaler with it doesnt seem to make a difference either. But it works none the less, so cant give it a bad star rating.

El cable es grueso y duro, la calidad del audio y video es muy buena, y el soporte para sostener el cable y proteger el puerto de la consola hace bien su trabajo. Lo uso con una escaladora OSSC y funciona muy bien. Recomendadísimo!

They are working well so far! They seem to have corrected the issues past customers have dealt with. The sound is fine and the picture quality is great! The only weird problem I've had is the sound wasn't coming through when I had the cable plugged directly into the TV, but when they're plugged into a splitter, the sound works fine. Weird! But I am happy with them other wise, the GameCube will always be plugged into the splitter anyways, so the sound thing won't be an issue for me! I often purchase Bitfunx products from Amazon and AliExpress have always had a good experience!
