Good for the casual learner, but not like the real thing.
I practice Choy Li Fut. This is pretty good. It is not bad. My only complaint is that if you are training to use a real wooden kind, this one is a little smaller and a lot lighter so it won't feel like the real thing. Since it is lighter, you won't get hit as hard as the real thing, but also, you won't feel the momentum that you would with a real, wooden three sectional staff. I recommend this for people who are casually interested about learning this kind of weapon, but get a real wooden one and a professional teacher if you are serious. Good quality. Lightweight (not a positive). Durable construction--it hasn't fallen apart on me yet. I use this when I want to practice in a place where a wooden one could cause damage to things or people around me.

Martial Arts Practice Staff
This was purchased as a gift; he's a TKD 3rd BB, very pleased! Made well, just be careful~

You'll Need a LOT of Open Practice Space
I don't mean to start off being "negative", but the coloring of the training item isn't as vibrant as expected. However, I won't knock it down a star for that. It's a little light weight, but for a training item it'll be nice to handle and (obviously) safe, should you misstep or just aren't properly fluent in movements. The chain's do seem a little flimsy, but even if they break they can be replaced with stronger, more practical rope. Weirdly, since I've been training with Nunchakus AND Bo Staff, they feel familiar to me and are a lot of fun to swing around, though I'm sure my neighbors might say otherwise and have concerns! XD

Great practice tri staff
Very sturdy and great for practicing. The plastic is on the thicker side to make it solid.

Excellent product
Excellent material I was worried about the chain links and their durability but that was a misplaced concern. Would definitely buy again.

Well not what expected
Weight is a problem, not as heavy to maintain velocity, the only pro is that you did not hurt yourself. Not recommended to practice forms, good to presents basics of the manage and handle.

Good for the price
This is exactly as I expected. It’s a good size and heft. It’s made similarly to most other padded martial arts weapons, but this one is cheaper than most other 3 section staffs so that’s good. That being said, I wouldn’t go smacking anything super hard with this because I have seen similar padded weapons break the cores when hitting too hard.

Works well
This item works very well with my training. I bought one before and it fell apart and the plastic attached to the chain broke but so far this one is lasting a long time and its getting tested daily and is proven to stand up against the worst
