Exactly what I needed to organize my larger gundam model kits
This model parts cabinet is exactly what I needed to organize my larger gundam model parts runners. Most model's parts are molded by injecting plastic into a mold that then has the parts attached to sprues or runners, which you have to cut the parts off of. With larger models, there can be a huge number of these parts runners. The model manufacturer tries to organize them by labeling them A, B, C, etc. but the sheer number of runner trees can be an organizational nightmare. This cabinet is a great way to organize these trees so they'll be easy to find and not get tangled up with each other.I've tried other methods to organize my trees but because the parts or runners can be all different sizes, shapes or thicknesses, having fixed width slot grills or slotted holders like most other parts organizers have is not always the best way to organize them. This cabinet works very well. I really liked that the "shelves" within the cabinet are removable and can be adjusted to different heights to accommodate the tree's sizes or thicknesses. The shelves can be removed or added as needed; and if not needed, stored in the base of the cabinet. The cabinet itself is made of the same material that most models are made of so this cabinet is not the most robust for standing up to abuse but it will do well if handled with the same care as you would your models! If you don't need the cabinet, the cabinet can be folded up to about half the size and stored away. Since I only do modeling in bursts, as time permits, being able to store away this cabinet is a real plus. I haven't seen any other solution to organizing my model parts that's comparable.

No Very Sturdy; Top Bends Inward; Plastic Siding and Tray Shelves
When I unpacked this item, at first glance I thought that this was going to be a very well made and sturdy item, but what I found is that the top of the stand seems to been inward and even after locking it into place, I was concerned about the sturdiness of the top and the shelve sides. I also noticed this to be very shaky and it is not made out of a very quality plastic. I am not to comfortable using this with some of my expensive models because of my observations and time spend with the racks. I am too afraid that the unit will collapse onto itself. I am a little disappointed in my experience and feel that this could have been engineer much better than what I am experiencing.

Great for small projects!
I got this for my husband, he loves to build models. This is perfect for drying his pieces while keeping everything organized.

Decent Shelf Set
This is an interesting concept, a plastic shelf set to hold the delicate sheets of model parts before and during the building process. I build Warhammer models, and the plastic sheets that hold the pieces are incredibly expensive as well as surprisingly delicate. Building the models takes time, and you often cannot finish all the models in a kit at one time, let alone if you purchase several kits at once. The boxes that the plastic sheets come in are mere cardboard, and less protective as one might wish. This shelf set would be a great boon to keeping these sheets protected during building! Now, building the shelf set isn't terribly difficult, though the instructions weren't in English. Once set up, there are several shelves that you can use, and the set can be altered to meet what storage needs you have. It's very protective, once you have it set up in a safe location. When not in use, you can compact the shelf set for storage.Alone and empty, the shelf set is very, very shaky. Using the shelves to hold plastic sheets will aid in stabilizing the set, and having a secure place to rest the set will also help, but it is a fact. The set is smaller than some of my plastic Warhammer sheets. It is advertised for Gundam models, which perhaps has smaller sheets for all of their models, but for the smaller Warhammer sheets it does work well and provide security. You can store your various building tools -- clippers, burr smoothers, etc., in the bottom on on top of the shelf set, but there isn't a dedicated place to store them as the product description suggests. My major thought is that the price is really high for what this shelf set is. Model-related tools are always expensive, so it's not a terrible shock that the price tag is so high, but it is a big consideration when thinking of purchasing this shelf set. There are a lot of benefits to this set, and it's always nice to have another device to make storing and building your models easier. There are a few downsides, but if this is something you're looking for, this could be a game changer in keeping your models in order.

Kinda cheap feeling but gets the job done
I needed more of a holder/organizer and this one looked pretty good. When I got it, the size was a bit smaller than anticipated and felt kinda cheap when it was put together (along with limited space inside). My guess is that for certain types of models, this is exactly what you're looking for?

Great acessory for kit building!
Great accessory to hold multiple different size runners. The listing says HG and 1/144 kits but I was able to build a few 1/100 kits. I did have to place some of the larger runners in at an angle but it was super handy to keep my workspace organized. I also really like how modular the runner shelves ended up being. Everything for this shelf is also storable within the shelf itself which is really cool!. The shelf also folds up to about the size of an HG box but I wouldn't recommend storing on it's side since the walls don't really have support to be stored that way. The top of the shelf is also great because it has a small lip so it'll stop round parts from rolling around everywhere while you build.

Cheap/weak and overpriced
The concept is great but it’s made of the same plastic as the model kits, not ideal for a tool. Mine arrived broke with securing pins broken off, this thing cost as much if not more than a lot of model kits I’m sorry but this is a pass for me they ether need to make it stronger or cheaper I’d settle for ether
