Dynatrap 1/2 Acre Outdoor Insect Trap

If you’re like me and want fewer bugs without the obnoxious zap-pop-sizzle soundtrack, this DynaTrap DT1130-GRSR is a summer sanity-saver. I’ve been using it for a bit now and have absolutely noticed a reduction in mosquitoes, gnats, and flying pests around the yard. It runs quietly, draws the bugs in, and does its thing without drawing attention—or making you jump every time it zaps something (because it doesn’t!). It's super easy to use, just plug it in. Cleaning is a breeze, just open the door at the bottom. I have mine hung on a shepherd hook, I just unplug it and empty it over a trash can. Color: The dark green is perfect—it blends seamlessly with trees, plants, or patio décor. Durability: The unit feels sturdy and well made—like it’s built to outlast a full season and then some. Effectiveness: The UV light works well as a lure, and the fan pulls bugs in without noise or smell. Coverage: Designed for up to ½ acre, it’s great for backyards, patios, and garden areas. I hosted a big event over the summer and the day before it happened as I moving things around to set ip the place, I realized that there were A LOT of mosquitoes!! Immediately ordered 2 and they arrived the next day. I set them up that morning, and turned them on. Within a couple of hours, I started noticing that I was not slapping my arms and legs trying to kill mosquitoes. Once the party was over, the stayed put and on for me next week (not intentionally) and enjoyed being ousted without the bugs. I turn them on and off as needed, and they work all the time. They’re sturdy and work well even after raining. A great investment !! Highly recommend it! I’ve had them for almost 4 months and they still work well.

It works, finally! A big remover for the hot summer month. I have for sure noticed a decrease in mosquitoes. It does capture them well and hold them inside alive. The one thing I never thought of, though it catches them it also attracts more bugs because of the up light. I haven’t noticed an issue but I have noticed more bugs but they do get caught. It is very pretty to look at and you don’t hear a zapping every two seconds which is nice. I don’t love the push on/off button it’s a bit hard to press when it’s hanging. Wish it came with a remote or easier way to turn off, especially if it’s hanging a ways from the area. The cord too is also very short. We needed an extension cord which I don’t love because it doesn’t look great, and was an extra purchase. Other than this it’s amazing. I will be getting one for my parents home. I leave it on 24hrs and shut it off during storms. I would remember the bugs don’t die right away. They are alive inside and are only being caught. So discarding should be done at a distance from the location being used. If the fan or machine is turned off I am not sure if they can get out because the fan and flap is not functioning. I love the color green as it blends nicely. Thick black cord to plug in and easy instructions. Good brand and well known. I love that you can get a RP light if necessary which helps. It is a nice size and covers about 1/2 acre which is perfect for our Apt balcony. It was a great value and on sale which was nice. Thought was hard to tell the difference of the other models outside of the coverage of area.

I have a recessed front porch, and mosquitos LOVE to hang out there overnight and in the early morning hours. Unfortunately, this means that every time I open my front door, at least half a dozen or more mosquitos get sucked into my house every time the door opens. I put this DynaTrap on a little planter stand just a few feet away from the front door (I know they recommend installing it away from where people would be to avoid attracting insects to that area), but this was the only place that I had an electrical outlet handy. I have not had an issue with mosquitos on my front door since then. Within a week, I had a nice little pile of dead bugs in the container -- mostly little moths, but also mosquitos, gnats, and other little flying pests. I can now open my front door without fear because they were all attracted to the light and sucked into the trap instead of being sucked into my house by the front door opening. UPDATE: Still 5 stars! After two months, I noticed that the fan was not spinning anymore even though the light was still on and it was getting power. I called their customer support number recommended by Amazon, and the person I spoke with said that the bulb was likely bad. I thought that was quite strange since my lights were still on and it was the fan that stopped working. However, he assured me that the electronics in the bulb were what controlled the fan. They sent me a replacement bulb at no charge, and sure enough, everything is working once again. This device already had 5 stars from me, but after this great customer service experience, it definitely keeps the 5-star review. Also, if you have an older one of these and your fan stops working (even if the bulb still lights up), try replacing the bulb!

100 € für nix gezahlt. Das Ding kann nur 110V Strom vertragen. Wir haben in Deutschland das doppelte. Das Gerät würde glatt explodieren wenn man es mit nem Adapter ansteckt. Leider war es ein Geschenk und wurde erst nach Ablauf der Rückgabefrist ausgepackt. Somit hab ich 100€ verbrannt. Sowas sollte auf Amazon Deutschland garnicht angeboten werden. Es gibt ja Geräte die beide Stromstärken können, aber dieses ist ausschließlich mit 110V zu betreiben.
