Fitted well. Nice clean machining and the measurements are as specified. They install easily and hold screws well in the right materials.

There are multiple options to choose from for heat inserts, which are indispensable for anyone who's serious about 3D printing. The quality varies tremendously, so does the price. However, this set checks all the boxes. I waited a bit with the review to test more than 1-2 of them and wow... these are definitely landing on my favorite list! After using over a dozen of them I can confidently say these are great. The thread quality is very good, the dimensional accuracy on the outside is within 0.05mm tolerance, and the brass has no sharp edges on it. They may not be the cheapest set, but the QUALITY is DEFINITELY worth the premium. In addition to being good quality, the ostensibly small touch of including the dimensions and a BIG picture on the packaging makes it extremely easy to identify them in a shop. I no longer need to make a custom label.... these are small things that make using the product way easier. This is my first set of the heat-set inserts from Hanglife, but for sure not the last one!

Threads are very clean & inserts are very easy to install. No issues with the inserts pulling out once installed. Wish there were more larger sized inserts & fewer smaller inserts.

Great product. There is no 1.4mm tip available. Just use the tip of the m2 tip to press this in. It gets it done without issue.

They work good and are well priced. I recommend designing to pull through what you are heat-setting them into, instead of the same orientation that you inserted them in.

These worked quite well. Great product.

These heat inserts seem to be quite strong once melted into the plastic, but I found that the design makes them difficult to line up. Heat inserts should have tapered bottoms so they can sit in the hole that you melt them into, but these have a hard lip that doesn't fit in smaller holes. Despite this, you can use them by lifting them up with the soldering iron and lining it up that way, but be careful to line it up properly first, as these transfer heat quite well and will begin melting into the plastic very quickly.

Good solid metal inserts. Heats up quickly and goes through easily. I use a press, but they stay hot enough to allow for adjustment. Once cooled they're solid mounting points.
