Inexpensive alternative seems to work reliably and easily, so why not?
These paired easily with my Apple phone and have worked reliably to show where my items are, even going through airplane baggage handling. They are much less than the name-brand ones and can attach without needing to buy an accessory. Haven't had long enough to comment on battery life - all still on first battery.

Reconnecting is my issue
Works well but when the battery runs out that’s it. Replaced the battery and it did not work ever again, didn’t reconnect! It did last along time.

Awesome alternative
These are super easy to use, you connect them simply by following instructions in Find My. All the features are there, it works for “left behind” option, it can ping which is pretty loud, and track on map/gps. Only feature missing to make it a 1:1 alternative is that arrow feature to find things within a close distance, but that’s honestly whatever at this awesome price range. It’s a legit 8 outta 8 for me 😄

Quick setup & Accurate
I have been using this smart key finder tags for a while and it's super helpful and accurate. Works great for only apple devices. Setup was quick and easy. These tags or key finder are compact, lightweight and quite durable. The sound it emits is loud enough to hear. Battery life is excellent. Worth the money.

Someone asked if you unpaired, can you re-pair it?
I would try to remove the battery wait a few minutes, replace the battery & press it to re-pair each tag. Short of contacting product support, that’s what I would try. Mine work great. You just have to remember to turn tracking on before you leave the house so you’re not fumbling around at the airport.
