It's a beast and definitely does the job - May require Conntek P515L530
This unit has an L5-30R plug in, which means it will not plug into a standard U.S. household outlet. In my case, I required that, so don't forget to purchase an applicable adaptor such as [Conntek P515L530]. This unit is heavy, so be careful when moving it. There are plenty of outlets in the back to plug your electronics in. I use this for two 1000watt PCs, along with monitors, and two HP laptop workstations and some basic desk lighting and this unit reported about 1.5 hours of run time without heavy load, and about 30 minutes with a heavy load. This is plenty of time to finish up on a task and shut down for me. Great unit, arrived in secure packaging and the control panel is easy to navigate and use.

No more power interruptions
CyberPower PR3000LCD Smart App Sinewave UPS System, 3000VA/2700W, 10 Outlets. I got tired of those 3 to 10 second power outages. This has taken care of that. I am using it for a space heater which the manufacturer says not to use it for. I got the 2700 Watt one because the space heater was a 1500 Watt device. I'm only using the space heater at its low setting of 700 watts. So that is well withing the limits of the PR3000LCD. To get the LCD panel loose I used a wide blade screw driver and twisted it in the slot under the LCD. That freed it up. I couldn't slide it up with just hand power. It felt like it was glued in place. The instructions said "remove it" but didn't say exactly how. I also have 2 Raspberry pi computers hooked to the PR3000LCD and one computer monitor. I have not had to use their tech support.

Easy to install and operate
Too heavy but the weight is a good indication of plenty of battery backup. Operates like a commercial UPS. My Delivery man from UPS was eating his Wheaties. He walks up to my door with this huge box on his shoulder, set it down on the porch like it was nothing. Took me an hour to get it in my house. BTW at 72 I'm not quite as strong as when I was a young man, so be prepared. Edited to add; The UPS service is excellent and the people are fantastic as has been for many years. Thank you, UPS.

It's great now that I've got it installed
It's great now that I've got it installed. I didn't realize what I was getting into, however. Yes, it runs on 120V. But it needs 24A and an appliance outlet. In practice, this means a separate 30A circuit. Also, be forewarned. This thing is physically very, very heavy. You need a hand truck to move it around and it should only be lifted by its sides.

works perfectly!! provides 4 to 5 hours runtime for the server that it protects. Super heavy and needs to have built-in handles to carry it. Otherwise great product :)

The Packaging doesn't give it a chance
As my title implies, this 120 plus pound device comes in thin box with very modest styrofoam corner protectors. My packaging didn't survive the unpacking, and that is a shame because I need to send this thing back. The reason I need to send it back is not clear because I see evidence of overall abuse to the UPS in that that it seems to be bulging and sheet metal components appear to be stressed out, but that may simply be sloppy workmanship. I powered it up and all seemed fine, but I didn't bother to load it, before I went to the trouble to put it in position, and hardware it. If this company purposely designed this device to be clumsy and difficult to move, they could not have done a better job. A truly awesome job fellas... I mean you couldn't have put sliders on the bottom, or something(?) You guys know how much it weighs- right(?) I got it in place and hardwired, fired it up only to find the output outlets weren't live. I cycled on and off a few times and suddenly it started buzzing fairly loud.and getting progressively warmer. Nothing I could do would make it stop. Right, disconnecting the power was the first thing I did. I frantically searched the paperwork for some sort of an emergency shutdown procedure but came up empty.. I was so desperate, I looked for a phone number. I wanted to wake somebody up at CyberPower. This was late at night and this was disturbing my daughter who was trying to sleep. I finally got primitive and popped the battery cover and tugged on the battery lead and when that wouldn't give, simply snipped it. The situation really was intolerable, and I had no idea of the safety issues. But, back to where I started. I don't know if this is a poorly designed device, or a decent device that is allowed to be abused during shipping. All I know is I have to re-pack this heavy thing and send back, and I wasted a full half a day. My back is still sore.... Maybe breaking this job up into smaller pieces is a better approach. Or even better, the designs with external batteries really make a lot of sense.since the weight can be distributed. Addendum: This UPS is flagged as non-returnable, but something delivered DOA should be exchangeable regardless. Also, I really want to emphasize how clumsy this unit is to move around. It has no lifting handles anywhere! And, it is on rubber feet. Do look at the weight on this thing. It is more than twice the competition. OK, a little trouble trying to return the unit, but this is Amazon Prime. You can talk to them. Once I got through to them they came up with a truly classy solution I will not post here that reminds me of why I like to buy Prime.
