Switches will make a big lighting difference
The Fogruaden PBT Keycaps Side Print Keycap Set, Minimalist White keycaps are - so far - a great for the money.I have these on an Epomaker x Leobog Hi75, which has really bright, pretty sharp LEDs. I initially put these caps on and thought - oh, oh no, the lettering is dim.But on the left side of the board - because I keep testing other switches for the perfect sound - there was this wonderful, colour-rich glow from within. Realized that these switches had the LED diffuser in, and that it made a world of difference. The caps are smooth to touch, without that almost 'rough' texture on particularly colourful caps sometimes. Cap height makes it easy enough to determine letters with the LEDs off (and I'm no spring chicken, these eyes struggle), and readable with lighter colours used as well. (This was a worry of mine, being able to actually see the letters rather than little blobs of fuzzyness)The sound is good too - not plasticky or light, they contribute to the deeper, marbly-thocky sound I was going for. Can't speak to durability yet, but will update if something goes awry.Overall, a really nice set of caps that are comfortable to use at a reasonable price.Note that you'll definitely need south facing LEDs to get the best effect from these keycaps.Pic attached to see the following:- These keycaps with Morandi switches: Number row 1 - 4, Q W E R, A S D F, Z X C.- These keycaps with Graywood Linear V3 switches (no LED diffuser): number row from 5 to =+, J K L (and continuing right), bottom left ALT, spacebar, bottom right ALT, V B N M.- Non-shine-through caps in there as I was swapping these out, and noted the glow missing from Y U I O P, and G H without the LED diffusers in.Video is with the full set of Morandi switches and these keycaps. You can see the M key is a sliver of a mm off, but to be honest I didn't even see it until I played the video back. Does not impact typing at all.All pictured are cherry profile. The coloured keycaps are Epomaker's Alice's Adventure, so not cheap-y keycaps for comparison. Height difference is due to switch heights, not keycap heights.I hope this helps!

Nope
Legends were not clear (to read) at all and the double shot opacity makes it impossible to read in daylight.

LED shine thru is very dim
I got the black side-printed set. The quality of these key caps aren't great but also not too bad. The edges are a bit sharp for my taste. They could really have made the double-shot layer go all the way to the bottom of the caps. It would've added some weight and sounded better imho. However, my biggest gripe with these caps is that the side print lettering is very dim and uneven. I don't know how they made those product images. And yes, I do have South facing LEDs and switches with the hole in the right place.

Shine-through incredibly dim
The physical build itself is pretty alright, but that's it. When it comes to brightness, barely any light displays through the keycaps from this brand (at least the black set). For visual comparison, attached an image showing the lighting shine-through performance between this set (black) and a different brand of keycaps. These will get the job done, but for nearly the same price: it's night and day how poorly this compares to other similar keycap sets on the market.
