Longest I’ve ever owned a spray mop!
I was one of those chronic spray mop buyers who would buy a spray mop and it would break or stop spraying with in 2 weeks and my longest run was maybe 2 months if I was lucky. I bought this mop in January 2021 and now it’s August 2021 and I’m shocked it’s lasted this long. Usually I’m buying a new mop every other month due to it not spraying anymore or it breaks in general. The only small downfall I have is that it’s sometimes hard to pull the bottle out, sometimes I get it right away and other times I feel like you need the ultimate strength just to pull it out. The other day I pulled it out and the bottle came out and not the lid. At that moment I did try to get it out but gave up because I had other things to do. Two days later I decided to spray WD40 in it because someone recommended to do that if you have issues with bottles being hard to get out, then I took needle nose pliers to get the lid that was stuck and to my surprise it actually worked 10 mins before doing this I was on Amazon looking for another mop! I’ll keep spraying the WD40 at the base where the bottle goes just to see if it will make the bottle come out easier I saw someone recommend that on Reddit. Overall it’s a great mop and it’s the longest lasting spray mop I’ve ever owned and I mop a lot, I mop daily and sometimes 2 to 3 times a day and it’s held up great. It’s easy to use and the pads just come off and you can throw them in the washing machine, I have so many extra pads from buying spray mops and even the standard mop pads fit this mop. The sprayer covers a lot of ground too you don’t have to spray 3 or 4 times in one area.

I've never been so thrilled to clean the floors. :)
Last week my mop broke. I was upset. (we're in the middle of potty training. a mop is essential!) It broke right where the metal met the plastic on the pole. I was actually quite angry for a bit, thinking what a hunk of junk, i'll never buy another one... WAIT a second, I thought... Then I realized that I had bought it- a Rubbermaid Reveal mop- in 2013. That mop had lasted just over 3 years, and while that's not a great deal of time I couldn't imagine a sponge mop or a Swiffer mop lasting any longer. Then I realized how much I really did LOVE the mop (which is why I was so mad in the first place) and that if I bought a new one I would already have some extra mop pads and an extra soap/water bottle. So I logged on to Amazon and purchased a new one right away. When I got it I was quite thrilled at the new version. There are a few updates. For one, the place where my old mop broke in two seems to have been reinforced deeper inside of the plastic mold in this version. The swivel head has so much more freedom of movement. and i think my favorite thing is that THIS HAS A SCRUBBY PAD ON THE FRONT. It's wonderful. I love the washable pads, they attach with velcro-like adhesion, and can go right into the washer with the towels. I also bought an extra microfiber dusting pad which works wonders on my hardwood floors. The bottle that comes with it is easy to use- just fill it with your preferred floor cleaner and water, screw the top back on, pop it in and go. I like that you don't really have to buy special cleaner or anything and the washable pads are so much better than disposable. When I got the new mop I did worry that the difference in bottle design would mean I couldn't use the old one as well, but i was pleasantly surprised. So now I can keep my wood floor polish in one and my pinesol in the other! I'm pretty tickled with it. Who knew someone could get so worked up and excited over a mop, right?

It's Finally Fun To Mop!
Throw away your other spray dispensing mop devices! At last there is a spray mop that doesn't require proprietary sprays or the endless replacement of pads. The Rubbermaid Reveal Microfiber Spray Mop should have been on the market a long time ago! It's more enjoyable and easy to use than other spray mops I've had, like the Swiffer Wet Jet . It isn't what I would utilize for those deep floor cleaning sessions, however. I'll stick to the regular mop and bucket for that. It IS a great in-between when you want a quick clean and shine, which is about 80-90% of the time. The Reveal also helps maintain a clean floor by mitigating the accumulation of dirt between washes. The mop pad itself is substantial and can be used over and over again. We just toss it in my washing machine when it needs to be cleaned. It isn't perfect -- the microfiber pad only picks up debris for so long before it starts adhering to the floor. It is great for a quick wipe if you want to freshen up your home. I really like the fact that you can fill the dispenser with a cleaning fluid of your choice. Instead of being forced to smell the same old proprietary cleaners, you can mix dilute and change up the scents at will. I mixed a lavender cleaner with water and had my whole house smelling fresh, clean and floral after a 10 minute run-through with this mop. This is a fun mop to own and use. I also think this is a wise choice if you are committed to recycling and responsible consumerism. All of those empty bottles and pads add up over time. The basic handle comes with one Mop Cleaning Pad and the empty Mop Bottle , while the Kit version comes with 3 pads and two bottles. The Reveal's handle seems a little flimsy (though it's lightness makes it easy to use) and I can only imagine that it's lifespan will be limited. The bottle insertion portion seems a little weak too, but the core mop arm and base section appear strong enough to last through a lot of use. The spray nozzle and pump grip work well and I have yet to run into the clogging issue other reviewers have mentioned. For the price, it's worth having it at one's disposal for those quick, spontaneous cleanings with decent results without dragging around bucket/mop or having to hunt down changeable pads. I would recommend vacuuming first if you want to extend the clean time before debris build-up compromises the Reveal's performance.

Spray mop.
Easy to use, clean the wooden floors GREAT! No getting your hands wet from ringing a cloth mop. Throw the cleaning mats in the washer. Done.

Great mop, wish sprayer was a more sturdy design
I love this!!! Makes cleaning my floors a breeze. They don't last forever, the sprayer part does give out after a few years (my last one lasted about 7 years). But for the price and convenience , it's worth it

Perfect for Luxury Vinyl Floors
I have had two of these - they seem to last a long time! I fill it with water to use on my floor and it does a nice job. I've purchased additional pads just so I can clean them in the washer, but it's a good way to keep luxury vinyl clean and smear-free. I've found that if I spray less rather than more water, it works better and leaves a nice dry floor in very little time. It's a quick and easy way to do the daily maintenance and keep my floors looking great!

AVOID This item. link to a fix has been added. The link goes to another review
GOOD BYE 5 STARS Update #3 I have used the fix referred to below 4 times now. The screws don't want to come out anymore. I love this mop, a lot. But I will not pay 40 plus dollars for a new "improved" version. Who knows if it will continue working? I already have a similar one, different brand, in my cart. No more money to Rubbermaid from me. UPDATE #2 I wrote the company, and they sent me a coupon for a new mop. I used it. Go here to find a fix.. it worked for me : http://smile.amazon.com/review/R4DC9C1KQ1W67?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B003YHF4AC&cdForum=Fx1O6FJ26WUI66R&cdMSG=addedToThread&cdPage=&cdThread=Tx3UOFAY6QGJ7PD&newContentID=Mx3RZN9YJR1ARB4&newContentNum=12&store=home-garden#CustomerDiscussionsNRPB Many thanks to Joshua B for the hep! UPDATE: After less than 1 year, the pumping mechanism has failed. I tried cleaning the well where the bottle of cleaning mix sets, but to no avail. It simply does not work any longer. It has been in this condition for a month or more. I and my husband have both tried to fix it to no avail. I use this daily on a small portion of the kitchen floor. Or I should say that I used to use it daily. FAIL. And customer service only answers during the hours I am at work. I have used another brand of spray mop for a long time. My spray mops get a real workout, as I have pets and I use it at least once or twice a day for a quick clean up after feeding etc. Last year, three of three of thos mops broke at the spot where the handle connects to the mop head. There is a very small loop that connects the two. I don't understand that failure, because I used the mop and simply stood it in a hidden corner... I am not a savage mopper, I promise. I simply spray and go. The Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop is made to be much stronger in that problem area. Also, it has reusable pads, so I am not adding to landfill problems, and there is NO BATTERY! The cleaning fluid is easily mixed on your own and place, so no more purchasing expensive bottles of mostly water. ( Although I did learn to reuse those bottles as well ) This spray mop has a nice wide and long mop head, and is all in all much better than the old purple sprayer I used to use.
