It works great. The only issue is that the TX and RX signals were backwards (Null Modem). I had to swap them in the D 25 connector. This device is advertised as being wired for Fanuc (which it is for all the handshaking signals) so, It really should be non-null wired for the signals. Fanuc (and Haas for that matter) transmit out on pin 2. The USB serial cable also does. Pin 2 and 3 must be swapped. Very easy to fix if your only buying 1 or 2 of them.

this is NOT fully wired ! it only has TXD and RXD wired and uses shorts to fake DTS/DTR and CTS/RTs. So hardware handshake is not possible with this cable.

I did not want to make my own cable, it did not work initially. Thanks to the other review that mentioned it, all I had to do was swap pins 2 & 3 to make it work on my CNC.
